brettney1980
Smallest Nations Clubs Enter English football! Way back on Football Manager 09 i ran this little experiment/bit of fun but i didn't leave too much time between starting it and FM10 coming out and well .. I feel like running it again but with plenty of time this time around. For those interested heres the original thread. What would happen if all the Tier 7 clubs were replaced with clubs from the Smallest Nations in the World? Would the Small Nations eventually dominate the World Scene if given top Youth and Training Facilitys? Could the Clubs eventually dominate English Football? ... Ever wondered about the above Questions? No!? Well of course you wouldn't .. who would .. Only me i guess!? ... anyway enough talking to myself and let me explain what i've done, ... All clubs in the Southern Premier, the Isthmian Premier and the Northern Premier Leagues have been replaced with Clubs from the Smallest Nations in the World. I decided to also add the 10 Poorest Nations, 10 Lowest by FIFA Ranking and 10 Lowest Population as well as 2 special entrants. All clubs were given Top Training and Youth Academy's and made sure they all had stadiums. I also gave all clubs a reputation boost as follows; Up to 500 = 1000 501 - 750 = 1250 751 - 1000 = 1500 1001 - 1500 = 1650 1501 - 1749 = 1750 The Clubs: Nation | Division added into | Representing Club | Reputation Smallest by area (34); American Samoa - South - Utulei Youth - 1000 Andorra - North - Santa Coloma - 1650 Anguilla - North - Spartan International - 1000 Antugua & Barbuda - North - SAP FC - 1650 Aruba - South - SV Racing Club Aruba (RCA) - 1250 Bahrain - South - Muharraq - 3500 Barbados - South - Notre Dame - 1650 British Virgin Islands - North - Rangers - 1000 Cayman Islands - Isthm - Money Express - 1250 Cook Islands - North - Nikao - 1000 Cuba - South - Villa Clara - 1250 Curacao - Isthm - Jong Holland - 1500 Faroe Islands - Isthm - Havnar Bóltfelag - 2250 Grenada - North - Paradise - 1250 Guam - North - Cars Plus - 1000 Maldives - Isthm - VB Sports - 1750 Malta - North - Valletta - 2550 Martinique - South - Club Franciscain - 2250 Mayotte - North - FC Labattoir - 1250 Montserrat - Isthm - Ideal (MSR) - 1000 Northern Mariana Islands - South - Inter-Godfathers - 1000 Puerto Rico - Isthm - Tornados de Humacao - 2250 Saint Lucia - North - Vempers Sports Athletic Dramatic Club (VSADC) - 1650 San Marino - North - Tre Fiori - 1500 Seychelles - Isthm - St Louis Suns Utd - 1250 Singapore - Isthm - Tampines - 2950 Sint Maarten - South - Victory Boys - 1000 St. Kitts and Nevis - North - Village Superstars - 1500 St. Martin - Isthm - ASC St. Louis Stars - 1000 St. Vincent and the Grenadines - South - System 3 - 1000 Turks and Caicos Islands - South - KPMG Utd - 1000 Tuvalu - South - Nauti - 1000 Virgin Islands U.S - North - Positive Vibes - 1000 Wallis and Futuna - Isthm - Forces Armées de Nouvelle-Calédonie (FANC) - 1000 Poorest Nations by GDP (10); Cape Verde - Isthm - Sporting da Praia - 1650 Comoros - Isthm - Djabal Club - 1650 Dominica - South - Pantoja - 1250 Guinea-Bissau - South - Os Balantas - 1650 Liberia - North - Invincible Eleven - 1650 Samoa - North - Kiwi - 1000 Sao Tome and Principe - Isthm - Bairros Unidos FC - 1250 Solomon Islands - South - Kossa FC - 1250 Tonga - South - Lotoha'apai - 1000 Vanuatu - South - Tafea - 1000 Smallest Nations by Population (10); Bahamas - Isthm - Cavalier FC - 1000 Belize - North - Kulture Yabra - 1650 Bhutan - Isthm - Yeedzin - 1000 Brunei - South - Angkatan Bersenjata Diraja Brunei (ABDB) - 1650 Equatorial Guinea - North - Atlético Malabo - 1750 Guyana - North - Western Tigers - 1500 Iceland - South - Fimleikafélag Hafnarfjarðar - 4700 Liechtenstein - Isthm - Vaduz - 5000 Luxembourg - South - Avenir Beggen - 2000 Surinam - Isthm - Robinhood - 1500 Lowest by FIFA Ranking (left over after other lists filled) (10); Djibouti - North - Gendarmerie - 1000 Eritrea - Isthm - Red Sea - 1500 Kyrgyzstan - Isthm - Dordoy - 2000 Macau (China PR) - North - Associação Desportiva Ka I - 1250 Mauritania - Isthm - Concorde (MTN) - 1650 Pakistan - North - Water and Power Development Authority (W.A.P.D.A.) - 1750 Papua New Guinea - North - Hekari United - 1000 Somalia - Isthm - Elman - 1650 Sri Lanka - South - Sri Lanka Army Sports Club - 1650 Tahiti - South - AS Dragon - 1650 Honourable Inclusions (2); Cambodia - Was requested in the last version i ran - South - Phnom Penh Crown - 1750 Bolivia - No CONMEBOL representatives - Isthm - Jorge Wilstermann - 4500 Hopefully a few people will find this interesting and please feel free to support, hate or just feel nothing for the clubs that gain promotion into the English League. brettney1980
The Data; I randomly decided which division to put the clubs into between the Northern, Southern and Isthmian. I have loaded all players from all 66 of the 'Small Nations' other than that only English leagues have been loaded on a Large database with 'Players added to Playable teams' 'Transfers in first Window' and 'Staff added to clubs' all ticked. All transfer budgets, finances and team status' (I.E Professional, Semi-Pro or Amatuer) are all left as is. Some clubs will be in Continental competitions the first season atleast, these include; FC Vaduz (Liechtenstein), Havnar Boltfelag (Faroe Islands), Valletta FC (Malta), FC Santa Coloma (Andorra), Tre Fiori (San Marino), and Fimleikafelag Hafnarfjaroar (Iceland). First update will be later tonight and will be a look at the first season, who won what and who becomes the first of the 'Small Nations Clubs' to make it into the playable leagues?
