Offsides.... That aren't actually offside...

This has happened to me 3 or 4 times in my newest save, I'm not sure if its the 3D engine screwing up and not being able to show what 'offside' is or whether the games screwing me over.

This goal was given offside and pretty much cost me the game, but as you can see, my player (Erick Torres) is clearly in an onside position, not to mention Baines is infront of him when the ball is played. This happened to anyone else?

numerous times too many to mention, once or twice maybe is ok but this happens and awful lot of the time, i think those ref's need sacking or demoting i think lol.

There are meant to be controversial offsides within the game just like there are many many controversial offside in real life.

What I especially enjoy is when the game shows the replay and freezes to show the player to be in an offside position, except that he isn't. It ranks right up there with a player going to ground, and the commentary says, "that looked like a dive" and the opposing player inevitably gets a yellow card. But then, FM has a history of trying to capture little events that happen once in a while IRL, but with occur with annpying regularity when incorporated into FM.

You SHOULD have offsides in the game that AREN'T. You should also have goals that DON'T cross the line! etc.

That's football.

Would love to see crowd violence, pitch invasions when titles are won or cup shocks are achieved etc.

It's basically an intentional defect is what it is!

Of course realism should include ref mistakes and controversy, but the offside that aren't offside happens way more often than the goal which was actually offside. I'm sure the 2 wrong calls happen in a more even proportion in real life.
