DanGLiverpool Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 I have had no problems with Steam, as long as I remember to close it before shutting down, or else it takes a bit longer to shut down the laptop, but I have had no problems with Steam. Matt ex SEGA Posted January 6, 2009 Share Posted January 6, 2009 Its possible that it's your PC rather than FM. FM08 working has nothing to do with FM09. As a few suggestions; - Make sure you're patched - that approves compatibility. - Make sure your Graphics card drivers are up to date. Try Windows update for this. - Update DirectX as per the known issues sticky thread at the top of the forum. Failing that, talk to Customer Services... their details are in that same thread. If the game cuts out then, like the above poster said, you have a game problem (probably to do with computer specs or drivers) and you need to post in the tech help forum with a more specific outline of your problem. If everything cuts out then you have bigger problems. Maybe overheating. You're not really being overly clear by just saying the game 'cuts out'. People could help you if you highlight your problem.
