dannyfc
In years gone by, before decimals were introduced into the rating system, my interpretation of performances would be; Less than 6 - Poor 6 - Below Avg. 7 - Solid 8- Good game 9,10 - Exceptional Now, I reckon 6.4 is an average display, anything above 7 is really good. 8 being remarkable. Calvincito
I second all of that.
peter-evo
It seems harder to get 9/10's this year. Whether that is due to the new rating system I do not know.
DEAN27POMPEY
Again I agree with all that. The players start on 6.4 now before a ball is kicked as they use to start on 7. So I'd agree anything above 6.4 is now a better than average performance!!
BuryBlade
On FM 09 i think anything above 6 is okay, above 7 is good and 8 + is great. Never seen higher than a 9.6 and that was when my striker got 4... so dont know what a player has to do to get 10/
RobinGoodey
Don't know whether it will affect how people view the decimal ratings, but if you go into your club fixtures screen and highlight (not actually click to go into) the match you want, you get to see your team's ratings in the old 1-10 system. From this 5.5-6.4 = old 6 6.5-7.4 = old 7 7.5-8.4 = old 8 etc. So therefore to get an old 10, you just need 9.5 or above now. Hope this helps
