What's the most you've paid for a loan deal?

I paid £1.3M for Caceres who then refused to move to my club when I invoked the signing clause. Stuff paying that much again if they aren't willing to move.

I have never paid for a loan deal, I just buy out right or get the budget loanees

I normally have a small fee and then a slightly inflated future fee, that way if the player doesnt want to sign, i part with as little cash as possible.

There is that element of it. I've signed players my scouts really rated just to discover they were not going to be better than those already there. At least this way you get a good look at the player.

I've never paid for a loanee, might as buy the player or a different player who does the same job.

Never paid and never will,If it is from a top club I want him for free as I am giving him game's,if it is from a club around my level or a bit higher then he isnt good enough for there 1st team why should I pay to have him play for me,no thanks will either buy a player then or indeed go without.
