RTHerringbone
Dodgy DVDROM or the DVDROM drive is playing up. See if another disk reads, if it does, take/send the game back to the shop/website and get a new one.
mne2
If there is a problem with the disc then you will need to take it back where you bought it from and get a replacement.

HuwFlet2
This problem has already been reported in the Technical Issues Thread, no answers yet though! Id go with either a dodgy disc or more likely you only have CD Reader not a DVD reader, If it is I feel your pain as your gonna have to shell out more money for one of these or buy the game through Stream! Elnaith
As I posted in a thread in Techinical issues already: No, you can enter the game in steam using the game code you have from your purchased game. Open up Steam Go to My Games Go to Activate a product on Steam Enter your Activation Code found on the back of the manual. (Use http://keylookup.fm2009.softanchorinsight.com/ to see you got all the 0's and o's right) Steam should now download your game. This will install the game on your computer, although it might still have to deal with SteamAnchor issues ( >.> )
