chaddy07
hi i am getting a new laptop for around a 1000 pounds i was wondering what requirements i need to run a very lot of leagues?
Spawnisen
2GB RAM and 2.0 Ghz would be enough. Really depends. I got 1 GB RAM and I can run 30 leagues without any problems the first 5-7 seasons
chaddy07
im looking at a laptop with 3gb ram and intel core 2 duo processor.is that recommended

Neji
i know but im getting it out of catalogue so i dont pay straight up. Ouch.. Anyway... get something with Dual Core CPU @ 2.0GHz or more and 2GB of RAM. Anything else will obviously help but I'd reccomend these as a minimum. JBC#1
I got mine for 999€ out of a shop in Ireland. I realised after I got it that I got a bit ripped off though because it had Blu-Ray and other features like webcam and such although it is quite fast and high-spec I didnt quite need them. If I was buying again I would go a bit differently about it. By the way the specs are HP Pavilion 2.1 ghz Dual Core 2 (Intel) 3gb Ram and I think 256mb of dedicated graphics memory for 3d. This is an idea for you so you can decide on these features or not for yours and so you are aware where the extra cost may be going.
trekman
im looking at a laptop with 3gb ram and intel core 2 duo processor.is that recommended Thats more than enough. However, you really should avoid purchasing out of a catalogue if you possibly can. The interest payments will push the price way up.

JBC#1
the requirements i said eg 3gb is that good Yes, I think these specs are good for FM and probably outstrip the minimum requirements by a mile. My guess is you will get about 20 leagues at a good pace!
chaddy07
Thats more than enough. However, you really should avoid purchasing out of a catalogue if you possibly can. JBC#1
Think like this...if you like the look of the machine and can afford it go for it! The machine you stated is very reasonable for FMing purposes.
trekman
interest free.is it still recommended I would say no. I really think you could get cheaper alternatives.
elgreenio
i'd say to have a look at the new fujitsu siemens AMILO Xi3650. 4GB RAM, 2.53GHz, 640GB HDD, bluray, adaptable graphics etc. etc. all for £700 edit : scrap that they've just put it up so unlucky if ya missed out
Stuiedo1981
Buy one from dell.co.uk. Better quality systems with better parts, for cheaper than you can get in stores, and you can pay monthly on credit.
elgreenio
i hate dell, i've had too many problems with their shoddy parts. Although if you do get in trouble they do bugger you into submission until its finally sorted
