BobbyMooreIsGod
How does one go about increasing the amount of coaches allowable for a club ? Thanks
Wee Aja
A better financial position usually leads to an increase in wage budget, and more staff being allowed. What club are you anyway? Or was your question just "In general"?

Nomis07
What those two vagrants said. You can also go over the recommended amount by offering retiring players a contract extension as a coach, the board don't seem to view this as you signing a coach, instead you're extending a cotnract. IIRC someone posted a screenshot where they had 15 coaches, but were recommended only 10.
GioGio85
What is the most amount of coaches you have ever hired. I can generally get about 10. I think when you are a super rich successfull club you should be able to sign as many as possible (if within ur wage budget) - id love to have one for every training scheduale I hhave and then a lot more for more specific trainign regimes ie. I set Gareth Bale on my standard Full back training but generally liek him to practice freekicks more etc. - it would be good to assign a specialist coach to this. ronaldo7fan
I don't know how you would get more coaches, but shouldn't SI scrap the whole 'allowed coaches' thing? They should make it so that your board just says "stay within this budget", and you should be allowed to get anything you need, be it players or coaches, the only thing being staying in the wage budget. Yeah I agree. Its so annoying not being allowed to sign a coach, even if they are on peanuts, just because your not allowed more than 8 coaches (for example). As a world class managager, surley they shoudl back me in the idea that I want another coach.

I agree and there are others who have said the same thing. The Board doesn't care how many players I sign, but it limits the number of staff? I've constantly wondered why they don't say a thing when I sign another 4th string MC for $3,000/week but say "NO WAY" to another coach at $250/week. redlion1986
I'm currently leaning towards just ignoring the board - they recommend 6 coaches but I've got 8 (one for each attribute, not including the assistant). And I've got an extra physio & scout. Naughty me!

They will allow you go over their limit by about 30% (they say 5, can probably get away with 7) but after that they will automatically cancel the signing of new coaches. I've won the CL and I'm still only allowed 3 coaches
nehpets81
How does one go about increasing the amount of coaches allowable for a club ?Thanks There is also a work around this rule - offer all your current coaches jobs as Ass Men, then each time you sign a new coach, also offer him an ass man job. Once you have the number of coaches you want you can then offer them coaching jobs again. There is no limit to the number you can have this way and they always seem to accept the contract. Is this the case? I swear I have accidentally tried to have 2 assistant managers before and it wouldnt go through as the board just cancelled it. Either way SI should sort this out, its so annoying! What annoys me is if I cant cancel the contract of an awful coach on a long contract as it cocts too much, but the board wont allow me to sign a new coach , despite having the wage budget to do so......meaning my players stats wont improve becaus I have a stinky coach! x42bn6
http://community.sigames.com/showthread.php?t=8372 I currently have around 60 assistant managers (!!) and 7 coaches, all giving me scouting knowledge. For a small database, I have around 70% scouting knowledge of the world, I think, and would have more but my stupid board takeover terminated one of my feeder clubs' affiliations. The only drawback to this is wages (no big deal for me) and the fact that it's a nightmare to renew all their contracts. I had to renew about 40 contracts for staff alone last season...
