Still think FM transfers are unrealistic?

Recommended Posts

"Sky Sports News understands that Manchester City have tabled a shock bid for Tottenham striker Dimitar Berbatov.

City's offer for Berbatov is reported to be in excess of £30million and would set a new British transfer record."

Taken from Skysports.com

This has been verified by the BBC also. Anyone foresaw this coming?

I'm starting to think FM can really predict the future...unrealistic transfers all around!

Yeah but if this was FM then Spurs would want 40m + 30% and City would offer it only for Spurs to want 60m +10% and and and and.

This is a shock (although as a Spurs fan I'm pleased he's not going in red), but it's realistic for a bigish club to offer a teams valuation of a player.

Now if it was 30m for Aaron Lennon then that's FM world.

What's a darn unrealistic in FM is when Dean Leacock scores 17 prem goals as a loan striker for my Derby side, the highest bid is from Spurs for 9mil, when the year before United offered 25mil. Where's the justice in that, just when I got a replacement for him, no one wants to buy him.
