ftg87
Does anyone know how the Manager of the Month award is calculated? I've never really thought about it before, just kinda assumed that it was based on matches won in the month just gone, however, in the month just gone in my game, I had 4 league games and won them all, whereas the bloke who won, had 5 but lost one, therefore he had the same amount of wins as I did, surely if I won all my games, I should have got the award? Now, I know the feature is primarily cosmetic, just a little narked as I feel I performed better by not losing at all Anyone who can either tell me or give a good hypothesis as to the answer gets a free Babybel and maybe a thumbs up
sirdez24
Maybe he is managing a lesser team, or had a harder fixture for the month?
ftg87
Maybe he is managing a lesser team, or had a harder fixture for the month? Well, I'm managing Liverpool and he is in charge of Arsenal, so it's not like there is a big difference in reputation or anything
SCIAG
I won the league with Reading, and didn't receive any MOTM awards. I did receive Manager of the Year, which was strange. It made me wonder about this issue.
Norville Rodgers
It's cosmetic, the whole awards thing, but I agree it can be very frustrating when you are managing, say, a lower rep team in a given league, you've outperformed everyone else, but the awards still go to the big clubs. NepentheZ
I wish I knew. I once won the MotM winning 1 games out of 1. The guy who came second won 5 games out of 5.

outlaw640
I have seen you do get a certain amount of manager points against your name. Maybe someone could do an experiment to see how much this goes up or down when you win or draw against a bigger team?
george94
I know exactly what you mean: I won the Championship with Ipswich but guess who got the award Tony bloody Mowbray who guided West Brom to 7th place. I got nothing.
