Andyprime
attacking and direct or counter/direct? i know it depends on the players ect im talking in general terms
Nottingham Forest
Short passing, simple game due to the ability of your players. If you ask your players to try long range passes, if they don't have the ability or attributes for it, they'll more often than not fail.
hluraven
In-game, short passing, in real life, direct.

heathxxx
I prefer not to impose either short or direct, to either extreme. I'm doing fine in the BSN with Counter/Mixed
Jay96
I use Counter/Direct, but then again I use a target man.
Andyprime
I use Counter/Direct, but then again I use a target man. i was thinking of trying that, currently ive settled on a 4-3-3 with the 3 up top being a deep forward advance forward and a poacher, short passing/balanced/attacking if i can get hold of a good target man im thinking of doing what you've said but with 2 inside forwards to get on the flick ons for my away tactic
Prodigy
I'd highly recommend shorter passing, purely because of the ability of your players. Playing on the counter works great with the lower leagues too.
