FMWheelerDealer
Anyone got a good way of negotiating them out of the contract? My GK does not currently have one, runs outta contract in 1 year, apparently he suddenly wants one, now he is probably one of the top keepers in the world, one of the highest match rating keepers i have had on any FM, reguarly saves me..... value of £3m for whatever reason (always think values are a bit broken on my team but heyho) and he wants a min fee release clause of..... £3m, not a chance in hell of course. Now i try and negotiate it higher, negotiate it out, use the little padlock thing, nothing i do seems to be working.... Any ideas guys?
athos7
Have you tried bribing the agent?
FMWheelerDealer
will try it if he ever wants to negotiate with me again, have tried a new contract negotiation twice, he now doesnt want to... ridiculous! ah well got an 18yo keeper who is almost as good and will eventually be better... so maybe its a good thing
postal postie
some players are just gready. in FM11, i lost out on buying arron ramsey from arsenal because he wanted a minimum fee clause of only 11mill. he was a brilliant player but ended up going to some german team for 11 mill. i bought him the following season for 20mill and he would not budge from his min fee clause of 20mill. TGP
try setting the fee really high and locking it.
Kain
try setting the fee really high and locking it. This. Be prepared for their wage and the agent fee to rise ridiculously though.
rancer890
try setting the fee really high and locking it. But as Kain already mentioned, watch his wage demands triple....
backpackant
Lock the general release fee clause, but try adding a really low relegation release fee clause. Perhaps zero. Also, if you can live with the risk, try giving them a very high general release clause but a lower clause for higher rep clubs.
