tigerhgrrrrrr
As I can play FM12 now from any PC (apparantly!) where does my save game "live"? Is the last update of each save game stored on the external Steam network? Is it on my PC? Is it on both but if I play Steam in offline mode I guess the external save would only update if I went back into "online" mode? I wonder this because if my laptop were to die or get stolen can I retrieve my save game from another PC direct from the Steam network?
Äktsjon Männ
I don't think it does store them online. Steam does have a 'cloud' function where save games are uploaded to their servers but FM save files are almost certainly too big for that.

alucasa
FM save files are too big to be saved online. It's under your document / Sports interactive / football manager 12 / games (for windows).
michaeltmurrayuk
FM2012 doesn't use Steam Cloud so the games are stored on your Hard Drive as per previous versions, if you want to use your save game on more than one computer you'll need to copy it to the new computer. tigerhgrrrrrr
So an 85000 kb FM File save game can be dragged & dropped onto a flash drive key fob and then be dragged back onto another PC that I activate FM12 upon (as I purchased from Steam) ? Seemsway too simple...
Matt ex SEGA
Yeah or if you want to have access to your save even more easily you can try something like dropbox and save the game to there...

alucasa
the FM save file can get really large, so better get at least 4gb USB drive. (2gb works, but not sure if they make 2gb ones anymore.)
