glynnbob Posted June 8, 2008 Share Posted June 8, 2008 I have just purchased a new PC which runs windows vista. I have put in the FM08 disc and followed the on screen instructions, this appears to have setup up all folders but it has not put a shortcut on my desktop and when it starts up it goes to a black white screen with just "load last game" featured. isuckatfm Posted June 8, 2008 Share Posted June 8, 2008 When you were installing the game where you logged in as an administrator? If not try doing so. When it is installed set it up to run as an administrator in case that is the cause of your problem. Right click your desktop to create a shortcut for FM. When you have done this right click the shortcut and go to Properties > Compatibility and tick ‘Run this program as an administrator’. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
