kevins182
I finished 14th in the league in my 3rd season with Newcastle(Poor I know)- Although I still somehow was put up for the first qualification round for Europe, does Fair Play Leagues or something like that apply in FM? If not how did I qualify?
milnerpoint
fair play rules are in FM as far as i remember, did you do well in the cups at all?
kevins182
Only semi's in League cup and 5th round of FA cup, so nothing too great
milnerpoint
does it not tell you why you qualified for Europe? There should have been a news article about it, i think you could find it through the season summery of the league as well.
jordan07
Do you not mean Europa League, i think it might be through fair play. How many yellow or red cards did you get, im not sure which qualifies you for a Europa League spot. Its not possible to qualify for Champions League through fair play. ragan
You can qualify with fairplay. First season in EPL I finished 10th and was awarded Europa qualification. Went out in first matches in League and FA cup. Needless to say, it sucked. Europa league pretty much was my friendlies for the next year haha. You'll start off against obscure teams that you haven't heard of, great way to get people back into shape.
