MNR_boy
Hey guys, Am I the only one who isn't able to set up a network game after having installed the 11.3 patch? I have always played this way, even sharing a router, but I just can't make it work now... All the definitions are ok, and we even tried shutting the antiviruses off... Thanks for the help... ChrisLiebing
Hey guys,Am I the only one who isn't able to set up a network game after having installed the 11.3 patch? I have always played this way, even sharing a router, but I just can't make it work now... All the definitions are ok, and we even tried shutting the antiviruses off... Thanks for the help... So you could play ok on previous patches but not on 11.3? Are you playing against someone in the same room or over the internet? I play 2 player league with my flatmate. Are you sure all players are properly patched to 11.3?
MNR_boy
I know Hamachi, but haven't installed it yet... I was looking for another solution but yes, maybe I'll have to try it... @ChrisLiebing: I play in the same room, and yes, i'm sure ... Thanks for replying, guys, but I'd still like to know what could be causing the problem, anyway...
ashleythompson123
I've not been able to use the network game feature without Hamachi for 2 versions of the game now (2011 and 2010), so I think Hamachi could possibly be the only way it can be done at the minute! Andy H
It can be done easily without the need for Hamachi. You just need to know how your router works and how to forward your ports.
