Have downloaded patch and am being asked what program i want to open this file with. e.g Adobe, but when i try them nothing works. When it appears on my desktop it shows my notepad icon and tries to open it using that. How do i get it to show si games icon and then install it? Administrators Lucas Posted December 16, 2010 Administrators Share Posted December 16, 2010 When you add the ".exe" to the end of the file, a dialog should appear asking you if you want to change the file extension. It will be in your Folder Options (under View, I think - I'm on a Mac at the moment)... This is what it says when i click on properties FM2011v11.2.1_pc.patch TYPE EXE_ATTACHMENT File Open: Notepad CHANGE when i click on change it lists things on my pc, e.g Adobe, Windows Media Player, Excel, Works etc. Any ideas what to mtry next?
