annoying hg box

When my players are not on form I like to stick them in the subs for a game. So I like to be able to see if they are avaialble for reserves. But just recently I cant see this, all I can see is a big green line of 'hg' instead.

Why would I care if the player was 'home grown' or not? It is annoying and makes the column useless. Is there any way to get rid of hg?

Use the "Full Status" column.

Good idea, but I tried that alredy. That column takes up half the screen and cant be resized. It stops me seeing the players form. I's like to check the players form and put him in the first team if its good or the reserves if its bad.

I could do this easily last season, but now all I can see is 'hg.' I have to check all the players manualy which takes ages and is annoying.

Well I don't know anything else that could fix this.

OR Just use the full status view for checking and normal for form etc. Beats clicking every player.

It's in FM10 as well, HG also hides statuses such as 'slt' and 'unh' or 'PR'. Why the hell is homegrown status so far up the priority list?

In FM10 you could just hover your cursor over the box and get the full list of player statuses but this has been removed or is not working for me in FM11. Removing a useful feature like that makes very little sense to me

Doesn't the HG icon only override everything else when you have a match coming up in the next day or so?

i thought it only came up when you were choosing the squad as it is alot more important than 'slt, inj' etc in that circumstance
