Wiitastic
Got my upcoming Champs League 2nd round knock out game now against Atletico Madird and just found out Jamie Carragher is the clubs Chairman & Fernando Torres is their Manager. I could understand Torress as he loves the club but Carragher ? Has anyone seen a former footballer that appears in the game from the start that goes on to become a club chairman ? I haven't, well until now !

charlo116
Javier Zanetti led a consortium that took over Sydney FC when i was managing them, i thought it was a bit odd as i didn't think he'd have much interest in australian football.
La Furia Roja
well he did play for them for a short while i know, i thought you were just asking what players you have seen that are now chairmen etc?
Dar2000
Maybe the game should be coded that players can only become Chairman of clubs they have played for. Although not totally realistic, it is a better system than the one that leads Jamie Carragher to become the president of Atletico Madrid! Niall Quinn at Sunderland is a good real life example
Bababui
Who says that this is unrealistic? The world is quickly internationalizing and in the decades ahead its quite possible that we will see things like this.
Wiitastic
I'd prefer a player to take over as chairman of a club where he played a majority of his football in. Now that would be good
