Stevencfc7
So I'm Fulham, 2nd with 1 game left in the championship. Burnley are on the same points as me, so if I lose I get play-offs, they get auto promotion However, I'm in debt, so would I be better throwing the game and going for the big prize money from the play-off final game? Which is the better option?
AB-forever
I think you'd be better off with the money in the Premiership and you might lose in the playoffs
lee50_11
i should imagine being in the premiership will earn you alot more than the play-off games!

Charlie Allen
The moral dilemma isn't the problem - It's the fact that you can easily lose in the play offs. Too big a risk for me. Does Football manager accurately represent the financial windfall that comes as a result of winning promotion via the play offs as opposed to automatically anyway? Stevencfc7
Hmm yeah I see your point with the big risks, but I've not seen the amount given for promotion via play-offs

I think that it is ridiculously unfair that a team finishing 6th can do better financially out of the deal (assuming they win) than a team winning the league... Such a stupid system.
