Azrael31
Jeffrey van der Veen is "Labelled the next Johan Cruyff". I love this feature, I really enjoy seeing young regens who are dubbed as some my favorite players of all time, but how does it work exactly? I assume that in order for Player X to be labelled as the next Player Y, he would have to play in the same position, be from the same country, and share the same key attributes. But how does the game calculate this? Does it take Player Y's top 5 attributes and if Player X's top 5 are the same, he gets the label? And has anyone compiled a list, or know how to access the list in the database with the legends? Guy like Cruyff, Gascoigne, etc. I'd like to create a few wonderkids who are the next Cruyffs, etc, but I dunno how to go about it.
CaptainPlanet
Attributes doesn't appear to have much bearing, I don't know if it's just position and nationality? Had a kid touted as the next Beckham, even though he couldn't cross or take freekicks and was more a speedy dribbling winger...
Damian
I thought that the thread was about system requirements for fm 2011 I guess it depends on the potential ability of the player, however how he may develop doesnt guarantee that he will be the next johan cruyff for example
Slawbawn
Sean Morrison at Swindon is often dubbed the next Rio Ferdinand on my games
AB-forever
AFAIK it's just about nationality, position and height.
