The one thing that slightly annoys me about FM10

Firstly I am not a FM basher, I am absolutely loving this version, but the one thing that I have noticed and I hope I am not the only one, is that vertually every offside decision, both for me and the AI is totally wrong, from goals that stood when players were about 15 yards offside, to players being given offside when there is about 6 players playing them on, and also I have had a few where the ball has been played back to them and you can't be offside if the ball has been played backwards.

Now I know refs get so many decisions wrong IRL, but it just seems to be on ridiculous levels in FM10, (well in my saves anyway)

This was an issue that was brought up when the game was released and adjusted in the patches- it is better now but still not perfect ( just like real life I suppose )

I've heard this was a problem pre-patch, but I genuinely have never seen one incorrect offside decision oO

Everytime a manager is outraged I go back to see - sure enough, they're on by about 10 yards.

Makes sure you're patch up to 10.2 anyway, should solve it.

Post patch I had a player called offside in his own half.

Just had a player flagged for off-side with FOUR defenders closer to the goal then him - it's pathetic that they van't get this right.

Yeah, real life sucks

I know that refs/linesmen get it wrong it's just the frequency of poor calls that I find irritating, particulaly when the opposition have just scored with the scorer standing two yards offside.
