Corkey
Hi Guys. I'm PSV Manager, started my second season. I have Erik ten Hag, as my Assistant Manager. He was originally at the club, I want to get rid of him because he is terrible. They won't let me though, due to the compensation at stack. Yet it is only £500,000. I'm in a Strong Financial Position. Any Help?
Scab
I'd try to give him a lucrative coaching contract and sign someone else as AM. If the board won't let you release him, you can't.
Shanksie1975
Earn more money try and offer him a lower / shorter contract grin and bear it.
Terry Austin
That's still an awful lot of money for compensation to an assistant manager. Perhaps you need to delegate less.
Corkey
He won't take a job as anything else, which is frustrating...... What do you mean by 'delegate less'
InterWolf
Do more yourself, so having a bad assistant doesn't affect results.

The Sean
I have been in this position. Unfortunately, you are probably stuck with him as a holdover coach until his contract is up; at which point you will not renew it. This is not uncommon IRL either in American sports...
