Glacius
Playing as Barcelona in FM2009. I would like to keep him, but he wants a $205,000/week contract, but the board will only let me offer him $82,000/week max, as well as capping his appearance bonuses at $42,000 per appearance (Can't remember how much he wanted). Is it time for me to make him move on? I know he's a good player, but he certainly won't take a $82,000/week contract. Is there anything I can do to keep him? If worse comes to worse, I will have to sell him.
zebanumut
Exchange him with Ibrahimovic seriously sell him,he is awesome but you can/will find better strikers anyway
Kifty
you could sell some other players to increse wage budget or adjust it
RawrrrFace16
If you get Ibrah for Eto, thats an awesome exchange
Technocactus
If you want to offer him more than $82k/week, you could try turning your transfer budget into wage budget in the board room?
Hershie
I'd sell him while you can. Not a brilliant player in my eyes, and on FM09 you can still sell him. As Inter on FM10 he's far inferior to players you can bring in, but on such stupid wages that you can never get rid of him. 2 seasons in the reserves and 1 on loan at Birmingham on £250k/week ffs. nev147
Try and sell him- as people have said there are better, younger strikers out there!
Brian Shanahan
I sold Eto'o third season in (after a European Golden Boot season, no less) in order to allow a regen forward I picked up cheaply to get the games he needed, he went to Inter. I saw no major dip in form and got £28m straight up IIRC.
Glacius
Consensus seems to be put him on the chopping block I will put him on the transfer market...I have a couple of players that I want to re-sign, as their contracts are up in a year and I still have just over $19 million in the transfer budget to put over to wages if need be. Heddlo2009
Offer what you can first, if he doesn't accept then put him on the list. He's a good player but that's silly wages.
EthanM
He wants more than you can afford. Either sell him or lose him for free (if his contract is ending at the end of the season.)
