RazvanRat Posted November 28, 2009 Share Posted November 28, 2009 Given what we know about long shots in the 10.1 engine, ie that they succeed more often than they do in real life, is it cheating to use the shoot on sight shout? I ask because I just won a promotion play-off having set shoot on siht for the last 10 minutes of a very tight game, and duly having been rewarded with a first goal of the season from 30 yards from my deep playmaker. I won't pretend that my instruction wasn't slightly based on what the match engine would do with long shots vs what would happen in real life if I just took long shots. So yes; was it cheating at all? And when have you made a tactical change to alter a tight game based on weaknesses in the match engine rather than your understanding of football?
