dirtyscarab
Can you take a screenshot and upload it? Like KOP said it sounds like an incompatible graphics card problem unfortunately.

mimland
It would be easier to advice if you gave some more information about your computer.
*****willowlfc*****
well i've obviously looked at the help for it and found nothing on this topic as you probably couldent yourself , mimland what do you need me to do exactly ? i can remember once i pasted all my computer info on here and got help that way with Fm09
mimland
Computer specs. Processor, RAM, graphicscard, windows version. You can find the information by going to run in the start menu and type dxdiag. Then click on save all information and save the txt file somewhere easilly found. Copy the information in it down to the 4 first lines of display device and paste it. You can leave out the first couple of lines as well and start with operating system. trekman
well i've obviously looked at the help for it and found nothing on this topic as you probably couldent yourself , mimland what do you need me to do exactly ? i can remember once i pasted all my computer info on here and got help that way with Fm09 Found your dxdiag by looking through your previous posts. Did you get more ram for your computer like was suggested in the other thread you opened? Frankly your computer isn't really good enough for fm if the dxdiag is anything to go by. You either need a new computer or some serious investment in upgrades is needed because your processor, graphics card and ram are very poor by todays standards. For anyone thats interested here is the dxdiag file that he posted. ------------------ System Information ------------------ Time of this report: 12/14/2008, 15:42:54 Machine name: DANNYWILSON-PC Operating System: Windows Vista™ Home Basic (6.0, Build 6000) (6000.vista_gdr.080917-1612) Language: English (Regional Setting: English) System Manufacturer: DIXONSXP System Model: Ei 206 BIOS: Phoenix - AwardBIOS v6.00PG Processor: Intel® Celeron® D CPU 3.46GHz, ~3.5GHz Memory: 446MB RAM Page File: 1340MB used, 116MB available Windows Dir: C:\Windows DirectX Version: DirectX 10 DX Setup Parameters: Not found DxDiag Version: 6.00.6000.16386 32bit Unicode ------------ DxDiag Notes ------------ Display Tab 1: No problems found. mimland
Yes you need more RAM. I wouldn't even try and run vista with only 512MB RAM which on top of everything else has to be shared with your graphics. In your case I would say get 2-3GB of RAM and a stand alone graphic card as I assume it is a desktop and not a laptop.
