lutontown1991
I have pre-ordered Football Manager 2010 from Zavii and I am living in Ireland. I heard about a postal strike in the UK. Will that affect the delivery of the game to Ireland? Do you think i will get the game on release date?
postman123
no there is a major backlog
trekman
Do you think i will get the game on release date? Since there is another strike due on thursday then I think the chances of getting the game from an online retailer on release day(or before) is probably less than zero. Robin_ellis_19
99% chance you won't get it on the 30th. Cancel your order and buy it from your local game store as your guaranteed it on release day and only for an extra £10 instead of waiting up to a month to get the game due to the postal strike and mail backlogging/delaying
PGB_SPURS_FM09
I think you have to make that decision yourself... either you trust it blindly... or you don't... or you contact them and ask them yourself. Nobody can really give you a correct answer unless they can predict the future EDIT: all we know is companies have said they will be doing their best to try get it to everyones doorsteps on release day! Does that re-assure you?

postal postie
Well saying that i have had my post everyday this week and have seen no sign of backlog or no post, some might be ok and others might not. think it depends on where you live and where you are expecting to get your mail. if you had local strikes then your deliveries are going to be affected more. but lets say the drivers are striking on thursday, and thats the day that the packages get delivered to the sorting offices, then your not going to get it on the friday.
