Muggy
How about retiring english players getting jobs as managers or assistants. I am playing with Spurs at the moment and have Ferdinand, Sherwood, King and Defoe as coach's and not had one approach for them to take a managers job. They have great attributes to manage a campionship, division 1 side. Would be nice if a lower league team would approach them to take over as manager of their team. The next Ince, Hughes, Southgate and Bruce with Ferdinand, Sherwood, Neville, Gerrard, King, Defoe ect managing teams in the Premiership and be succesful Apologies if this has been done before
DivineOne
You should try playing more then one season. It's already in the game ...
DanGLiverpool
Yeah, in my career game, by 2019 I had gone through both Matt Lawrence and Neil Sullivan as assistant managers in my 6 years at the club I was managing, as well as Mark Bosnich as a physio. hitemfrank
Yeah it's already there - Gerrard is in charge of Stoke in my game (2020) and is trying to nick some of my players the git. It's not going well for him as he inherited a pretty poor side after they were relegated from the Premiership.
Dusty_Manager
yeah, loads of players, Sol Campbell is manager of Ipswich on mine.
RyanBRFC
I had loads of English players being managers, Steven Gerrard went off to Italy and managed Livorno where he got sacked and then he got the job at Sheffield. Thats just one English player that I can think of on the top of my head:rolleyes:
Random86
Yeah, I have it all the time... kinda annoying, since it are usually my ass.managers that get plucked away. And I don't always like finding the right one to replace him.
