tdot
Football manager 2009 had all the injury problems before you downloaded the patch to stop it 2008 had all amount of disallowed goals until you downloaded the patch to stop i was wondering when football manager 2010 come out will it have a problem that the patch will stop if so how long after the game is released will the first patch be released. rinso
that depends on the scale of the problem/if there is a problem. you cant say in advance that a patch will be out on a certain date, cos you dount know what (if anything) is gonna go wrong
mije1983
Nobody will know until the demo comes out, at the earliest. There may be a patch on release day if a bug is game crippling or it may be days/weeks after release. So fingers crossed there won't be anything major this time
Ranbir
You can be assured we'll have three patches*. If we go by the pattern of the past two games. *All meant to be significant

spankie
AIUI SI have got more people in QA now and a lot more different PCs to run the game on, so hopefully that will help reduce the need for urgent release day patches.

Damn, where did I leave that crystal ball?? TBH, it depends how well the demo is tested before release and how much is uncovered between release and full game going on the market. You may find a patch available on day 1, or it may not be deemed necessary/finished until a month later.

SI Staff Ter Posted September 3, 2009 SI Staff Share Posted September 3, 2009 Ideally there will be no need for a patch and we're working hard to ensure there are no major issues come release time. As always we'll support FM 2010 as best we can.
