Los Merengues
it seems like no matter how old the players is, they will never agree to be a coach when we interact with them is there been a case where they actually just agree to becoming a coach? Elrithral
is there been a case where they actually just agree to becoming a coach? Yes, however, it is not in your interests to have the player become a coach whilst still a player, as their wages are way too high. I had a 38 year old keeper, good coaching attributes, about to retire from playing, offered him a contract and he wanted £20k per week to stay on as coach! Left it until he retired and offered him a new contract £1,800k per week. You can tell them that they will make a good coach, and they may become a coach eventualy, but you're better off waiting until they retire, before actually hiring them. Kenco
Tell them you think they will make a good coach every couple of months, they will often change their mind if you are persistent.

rougess
I'm yet to persuade a "Probably not going to stay in the game once he retires" player to become a coach, but I'm determined to get Xavi on my staff!
