Hovis Dexter Posted September 17, 2019 Share Posted September 17, 2019 (edited) I'd like to offer a player a new contract but every time I've been to the screen, over the last three months, his agent has included a non-negotiable minimum release clause to which I do not wish to agree. The player is now telling me that he wants a new contract. I would like an option to tell him that I will be happy to negotiate a new contract provided the minimum release clause demand is dropped. I believe that such an option would be realistic and should also be available for any other non negotiable clauses included by the agent.
