Serious answer (trying to make it as simple as possible): because of how FM is programmed, the game can't handle monetary values above ~2.14billion. Go above the limit, and the game bugs out and suddenly says you're ~2.14billion in debt. (This is called "integer overflow" in computer speak.) To try and stop this from happening, the game may take money out of your club's balance if you're close to the limit. That is all it does. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
santy001 Posted June 10, 2019 Share Posted June 10, 2019 Yeah, just to follow up to the best of my knowledge, this money never comes back either. So if you subsequently burn through a billion and are back to much lower levels you don't get the money back.
