No. Giroud is a good back up or main striker for any FM team. With the right tactic, he can score 30+ goals in a season, which is proven already by players in these community. With players like Bellerin, Walcot, Monreal, and Sanchez, Giroud should be doing easy tap ins or headers in the box. He is probably the most technically and physically gifted target man in the game, apart from Zlatan!

He even got a hattrick against Chelsea.
Rémy Leroux
Hello All, I am new here - so warm greetings to all Arsenal fans! Sorry for chaotic style but I not used to yet to web forums. I started new season in FM2016 with my favourite team and I have really stunning season. Preaseason transfers: OUT: Flamini Campbell Monreal IN: Gaya (50 mio EUR) Bernardo Silva (30 mio EUR) Jorge Mere (future) Dani Olmo (future) Winter transfers: OUT: Gabriel Paulista Elneny IN: Bazoer (14 mio) Riedewald (17 mio) Future IN Donnarumma (6 mio) Thiago Alcantara (37 mio) plenty of 4,5*-5* regens including one of future world class golkeeper Lot of young players depatrured on loans (Gnarby, Jeff as well). Still not finished 1st season (but already PL winner and passed Champions league quarter final - with Juventus - 3-1 away, 6-4 home...) and I see few players to be loaned after (Coq as Thiago comming). I am not rather spending tons of money for the players so will not go for Griezmann or Pogba. Cheers Gooners.
Rémy Leroux
Update to above post. After season I let them go: Coq - 40 mln EUR to Barcelona (Bazoer had stunning entrance to first team, very rarely below 8.0) rating. Mer - 21,5 mln EUR to Dortmund Wallcot - 45,5 mln EUR to Man Utd Santi Cazorla - 38 mln EUR to Atletico de Madrid IN: Jesus Vallejo - 45 mln Ruben Neves - 42 mln Real wants Giroud for 45 mln EUR but guys, he scored 56 goals last season. I can have younger Morata for that price, but I can't see him scoring that well. Any ideas and advise?
rstebbing1709
I decided to start a game with Arsenal, not a fan, but I felt they were a decent challenge. Big club with great finances, big stadium and great fan base but too long since they were genuine and consistent challengers in the league. Now into my third season I thought I'd post my journey here. Season 1: League Position 2nd (Winners Chelsea) Notable news – The two Manchester teams finished mid table leading to Mourinho and Pep both being sacked. Cups: EFL Cup – Winners – Beating Newcastle 3-1 in the final FA Cup – Runners Up – Losing 2-1 (AET) to Manchester United Champions League – Quarter Finalists – Lost to Barcelona (Atletico were the eventual winners beating Juventus in the final) Europa League – Sevilla – Made it yet another win in this competition Transfers: I think not being a fan helped make tough decisions in this area as I have no real life allegiance to players. In: Timo Horn – Koln - £6.5m David Alaba – Bayern - £31.5m Lucas Silva – Castilla - £16.8m (January) Domenico Berradi – Sassulo - £26.5m Daniele Rugani – Juventus – Loan Saul – Atletico - £27m Emmanual Mammana – River - £7m (January) Gabriel Barbosa – Santos - £11m Gianlugi Donnarumma – AC Milan - £12.5m Isco – Real Madrid - £22m (January) Mauro Icardi – Inter - £40m Paulo Dybala – Juventus - £41m (January) – Transfer listed by request £241.8m Out: Yaya Sanogo – Newcastle - £5m Serge Gnabry – Man City - £9m Joel Campbell – Leicester - £12m Mathieu Debuchy – Leicester - £8m Gabriel Paulista – Leicester - £8m Danny Welbeck – Wolfsburg - £34m Nacho Monreal – Chelsea - £12.5m Emiliano Martinez – Hull - £3m Granit Xhaka – Juventus - £29m David Ospina – R Sociedad - £5.5m Mohammed Elneny – Schalke - £17m Santi Cazorla – Juventus - £24m Carl Jenkinson – Stoke - £8m £175m (Net spend £66.8m) Season 2 League Winners – Notable news Sunderland finished third with Everton fourth. Manchester United had a terrible league campaign and survived on the final day! Cups: EFL Cup – Lost 4th round to Reading FA Cup – Winners – Beat Reading 4-0 Champions League – Winners Beat Real Madrid 3-2 Europa League – Manchester United Transfers Season 2: In: Daniele Rugani – Juventus - £24.5m Martin Odegaard – Real Madrid - £25m Regens/Youth players for a combined £82m £131.5m Out: Francis Coquelin – Manchester United - £28m Olivier Giroud – Atletico - £27m Per Mertesacker – Malaga - £5m Wojciech Szczensy – Bournemouth - £8m Theo Walcott – PSG - £32M Tukamo Asano – Brighton - £100k £100.1m (Net Spend £31.4m) Summer Transfer window season 3 In Luke Shaw – Manchester United - £38m Lucas Digne – Barcelona - £11m Regens/Youth players - £58m Combined £107m Out Callum Chambers – Stoke - £11m Alex Oxlaide-Chamberlain – Manchester United - £26m Mauro Icardi – Chelsea - £38m Timo Horn – West Ham - £7m Lucas Silva – AC Milan - £15m Laurent Koscielny – Barcelona - £17m David Alaba – Real Madrid - £55m Alex Iwobi – BMG - £7.8m Kieran Gibbs – Manchester United - £6m £182.8m (Net profit £75.8m) Current Squad First Choice Back Up Goalkeepers: - Donnarruma Cech (Cech plays Cups & occasional League matches) Right Back: - Bellerin Daschner (17 Year Old Regen) Left Back: - Shaw Digne BPCD: - Rugani Xavier (18 Year Old Regen) Centre Back: - Mammana Molina (19 Year Old Regen) CMDLP: - Wilshere Ustandag (17 Year Old Regen) CMAP: - Ramsey Saul IFR: - Isco Barbosa IFL: - Sanchez Berradi AMAP: - Ozil Odegaard CF: - Dybala Barbosa Berradi As you can see I am looking to start bringing through some of the young players I have brought into the club and get them some experience through the seasons ahead, hopefully meaning I have a set team that combines youth and experience. I am happy to finish top four this season though champions as always is the ultimate aim.
aditya
Playing on the new LFCMarshall Transfer Update: Signed Ousmane Dembele 24m, Rashford 32m. Ousmane is injury prone! in case someone wants to buy him as well, however, Rashford is what Akpom wishes he could be. Scored a hat trick on his debut. Just ended my third season at Arsenal and what a season it has been, Manchester United finally turned their fortunes around, improving from 16th last season to 2nd this season. Rémy Leroux
I have started new save as wanted to go little bit different way. And it shows me how this game is random. Now I am finishing first season and Giroud sucks (last save he scored 56 goals) - missing even empty net. But Wallcot is scoring every position he plays. Once i put him instead of Monreal and he got hat trick. Lol.
