SpartanUTD Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 I've got £372,138 Total Players Wage Budget. At the moment, I'm using £265,434 of it. I want to sign a player who's asking £15k/month, which means I'd use £280,434 but I am only allowed to give him £9,250. Why is this happening? Marabak Posted March 29, 2015 Share Posted March 29, 2015 The first two things that come to mind are a) have you got other players coming to your team as future transfers that are already committed to? b) does your wage structure limit you to that amount for the particular squad status of the player? They will limit each squad status to a maximum wage budget cost as well as giving you an overall wage budget. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...

When I was still learning the ins-and-outs of FM it took me a while to figure this out as well. Go under the "Finances" tab and then click on "Salaries" - it will list out the wage structure for each Team Status. Link to post Share on other sites More sharing options...
