Then when I offer them the job, they sign a new contract with their club. This happens when I'm offering them a lot more than they are already earning. When the AI offers your staff contracts you can have a private chat with them and get them to stay, even involving them turnign down more lucrative deals. One applicant went public and wanted the job, but I can't enter contract taks. The transfer sage is exactly the same, they same the would love to join my club.
