Bracken
So this is probably me being moronic and missing something, but here's the deal. I'd like my full backs to aim their cross at my striker. It used to be on FM13, I'd set them to aim at my target man, and set my team to use my central striker as a Target Man even though he didn't have the positional role of Target Man. I tend to use a variety of roles for my central striker, but sometimes I want them to be the focus of any crosses coming in, so this option used to be quite useful. However, on FM14 I can still select the option to aim crosses at Target Man, but I cannot for the life of me find out where I can designate who I want that target man to be. Is it simply that this will only work if a striker is given the positional role of Target Man? Or is this function just hidden away somewhere I can't find? Similarly with playmakers, I can no longer find the option of selection who I want my playmaker to be, is it now just done by role, or is it somewhere I can't find. Any advice would be great. Thanks! Cleon
A TM has to have the TM role now on FM14. The same with playmakers.
Bracken
Dang, thought as much, so I can't direct my crosses to a particular player unless they have the TM role in any other way?
RTHerringbone
Dang, thought as much, so I can't direct my crosses to a particular player unless they have the TM role in any other way? Correct, but remember that Player Instructions still allow you to influence how that Target Man behaves, so you can shape him to play in a less conventional Target Man style. Yeah sounds like that's my best bet. Thanks for the fast feedback guys
