It will be indeed. If you bought in 2020 you may have a MacBook with an Intel chip. In 2021 and 2022 Apple have started including their own chips, rather than intels, in their MacBooks. These were called M1 and M2 chips.

The whole 'tear up the script' theme now makes more sense, with the match engine looking much more chaotic! I've complained a lot about the graphics engine but the match engine seems to have gotten a significant upgrade

They may have been told late when the embargo was listed, it may just be beta release - 2 days or so. The beta release may have been the moving part

I think there's no release date yet. They're probably still fixing some alpha issues and will release when it's ready.

I think most of us have seen the FM17 screenshots., where the graphic engine indeed looked better. I think since then there have been some big overhauls to the match engine, for instance in the way players move. Perhaps that has caused graphics to not improve (or even become worse). Could it be that they're just trying to keep the graphics okay until they transition into a new era of FM, with completely different graphics? -
I can smell the beta, it's close now lads...

Let's be honest, it would be sufficiently zoomed out that you do not need the detail in the faces. Compare it to FIFA Manager 2013. Two free kicks. You tell me which looks better. And there's a ten year gap in graphics between them.
