[Crash since GPU driver update]

any assistance would be great with this as my FM21 is unplayable right now.

I've tried rolling back to a previous driver but still have the issue. I've attached my dxdiag just to add more info

Trying with and without extra graphics installed and it wont get through a game now no matter the save

all three done including preference folder also.

Main graphics issues
- my players disappearing
- animations not playing. Players look like they are skating and kicks don't involve any movement, the ball just launches in a direction.
- pitch texture looks strange

After updating to the latest GPU driver the match engine slowly begins to corrupt. It starts with animations like kicking the ball no longer play and then the surroundings then begin to look strange. Eventually this will crash the game.

Has anyone worked out team shouts yet? They just don't seem to do anything that makes sense and often ends with all upset players.

@FuSS yeah the only one I'm aware of. It just seems more solid without at as the high line got caught out but didn't offer a benefit to justify it so I unticked it

Love this tactic. The only tweak I've done is remove higher defensive line and its more solid for me. Thanks fuss much appreciated

they definitely seemed to have nerfed demand more spam as its almost as if its a trap right now to instantly removed any positivity from your players haha

just about to ask the difference between the 3 versions of electric funeral and the vol 2,3 and 4 of preachin blues

[Game issues since latest update]

tried all that as it was listed in that other thread.

- beta patch with documents as is
- beta patch with documents reset to default
- retried above with reset of cache and preferences

Ive put my documents back on the D: for now as it has been for years and since launch of fm20 to avoid upsetting my other apps etc.

I can see on the error file generated the save is failing due to trying to save into an folder path that includes the word EPIC.

Is there an ETA for a fix? My concern is we are heading into the weekend and with the hoops you have to jump through to play FM since this update this is going to mean I can't play this all weekend.

i was just trying that as a further test myself but it had no effect both with and without the beta patch. 

I've put the default my document back to my one on D: so as not to upset everything else pointing at my documents.

My exact issues with the public beta:

Can you see files listed as Load Last Save via the main menu? No
When clicking 'Load Game' via the main menu, can you see your save games? Yes
Are you able to now save the game by auto saves or 'save'? - (so excluding the 'save as' option) No
Can you save when using 'Save As'? Yes

to add to this I've still got all of the above issues after i have also reset the windows documents back to default both with and without beta patch

its been the same for ages for me. I did change the location of my documents via windows explorer back when i installed windows so it wasnt on my c: drive ssd but FM20 has been in the same location and folder within documents since release

I also cannot simply press 'Save Game' I have to click 'Save As' when in-game. Of course, this will affect my weekly overwrite saves I assume?

 

when you get to an autosave its popping up the save as dialog box and forcing a save as
