Top match against Bayern Munich, and boy was I surprised to see their starting eleven. For whatever reason, they decided to ditch their entire defence entirely out of the matchday squad, including goalkeeper and on top of that Musiala from more central part of the pitch. No injuries, all in prime shape. pkm from the match attached, as well as a save game from before the match

A cross gets blocked and visually the ball gets to the midfield, from where it's suddenly back in the box an in the goal. 5th minute of play.

71 minutes of play, my third goalkeeper goes down injured. The ref for whatever reason does not stop the play, allowing Napoli to build up a free goal.

Half of the season gone, and Chris Smalling is having a season of his life: 21 appearances, 10 goals. With this trajectory he's likely to finish the season with 25 goals. I'm not complaining, but nevertheless finding it a bit odd. As you can imagine, most of his goals have come from setpieces, thus makes me wonder whether my setpiece tactics are a bit overpowered

What'a beautiful beta morning -
Genoa's second season, finished 1st in Serie B. With a fair amount of finance trouble during the last half of the season. The wage budget for the new season is exactly what we're spending currently. Transfer budget 795K. Board expectations: Finish mid-table. Pardon my French but wtf.

Last round of the season, for unknown reason I'm singlehandedly playing Forest on Saturday while rest of the league is playing on typical last match Sunday. I don't have a save game from a proper spot anymore, but the trigger was the Europa League finale being drawn for my team on 31.5. which caused the game to move the particular Forest match back by one day.

Bayern Munchen bought Marash Kumbulla from Roma in my save for 26 million euros. His status is "2nd team regular", is placed in Bayern Munich II and on top of it all according to player information "Hopes he will learn a lot while at Bayern Munich II". Something doesn't add up here?

News article stating the club aiming for the title. Luckily that's not the case, but in truth the board expectation is to reach the Champions League. Uploaded the save game, the news item pops up after a couple of continue clicks.

Uploaded manu+roma.fm Svilar's news item pops up a couple of days later (3.12.) once you load the save game.

Early December 2022, Matias Vina and Mile Svilar both asking for more gametime in order to improve their chances of playing in the World Cup. Guess they could be referring to 2026 World Cup, but I find it more likely to be just a bug?

The starting data of beta seems to consider DDG as backup goalkeeper. I think that might be the source of the issue here. -
21.10.2022 De Gea telling me in the news that he wants to explore his options at the end of his contract. He's been the starter GK the whole season. Considering the stance the guy has taken within the real team in the past couple of years, I'm finding this option quite unlikely. He's a club icon, likely to become a legend. Seriously, he ain't going anywhere if the club isn't actively looking to sell him.

Okay at least that makes sense, obviously I'm quite sure not to trigger the extension but considered it weird from menu perspective. I'll update the thread if I'm still unable to do it after the new year. -
The same issue of bad scaling is very much present in FM2023. The team selection screen, for unknown reason remains capped to a post stamp sized window. I've raised this for the past 3 years I haven't ever recieved a proper answer why the UI could not scale properly based on resolution here.

As is commonly known, Ronaldo has a one year option in his current contract and the game seems to recognize that. But at least in my save the "trigger extension" option is not available in Contract-menu. For all the other players in Man Utd with contract options you're able to normally trigger the extension. Let me know if you need a save, I'd assume this is a databug not tied to my save game.

Just a status update: Mid-February, and City still isn't doing significantly better. They're sitting 10th with over 12 point gap to Europe. Yet Gabriele Milano is sitting tight in the dugout. -

Typo in the season, obviously it's 2023/24. -
It's season 2022/2023, City got their media prediction to finish 1st in the league. The game date is 14.12.2023, City is sitting 14th with a twelve point gap to even make it to Europe. Yet their manager's job status is secure.

Uploaded before_champ_final.fm now. At least I was able to reproduce the issue multiple times just by selecting my squad and going into the match. Also uploaded Henderson_as_DC.pkm
