Adding another peculiar observation to this: The transfer happened on 9.7.2023, the game date is now 31.8.2023 and Real Madrid is desperately trying to offload Van de Beek. Quite poor decision making from the AI if you ask me. -
Sold Van de Beek to Real Madrid. The corresponding news item states that he only made 9 appearances since joining Man United, costing XXX per match. The thing is, the game ignores the statistics preset from real life. Meaning the whole season 2020/21 where Van de Beek has 19 league appearances. Uploaded sell_vdb.fm the player has almost accepted R.Madrid's contract offer, thus the issue should be easy and quick to reproduce.

I'm not sure if this should be classified as a bug or not, but as I'm finding it odd thought to write here. Liverpool for unknown reason is starting with Jordan Henderson pairing Van Dijk in their central defence. They've got Benjamin Pavard, Joel Matip and Joe Gomez happily sitting on the bench, fully healthy! If you want an upload, is it actually the savegame or the matchfile or both?
