Are you sure it's that long? Both the English and the dutch wikipedia - which to be fair isn't the best source, mention it's only up to the end of the 22/23 season.

Yeah, the fact ah that everyone refuses any offer other than a star player (whether they're a 5 star or a 3 star player) I mean by maybe a bug, or maybe the result of the team not having a reputation level level with the league and players they have

I might have been too hasty posting this before playing through it - I don't know if it's a game bug or a database issue with the team's reputation, because every single player in my team, currently on an amateur contract, refuses to sign any contract that doesn't give them Star player status, regardless of their skill level. I might jump ship, cause sooner or later this will ruin my squad.

Futebol Clube Barreirense is a classic Portuguese fallen on hard times. Founded all the way back in 1911 in Barreiro, an industrial town 6 km away from Lisbon (which is to mean, on the other side of the river). To this day, they are the 15th team with the most appearances at the top level in Portugal, having played in it for 24 years, their highest position ever being a 4th place in 1969/70, and they also reached the semi-finals of the Portuguese Cup 5 times, the last time in 1957/58. Considering they just got promoted from the 5th tier to the 4th tier, you can tell they're far far away from where they used to be. FC Barreiro play at the Campo da Verderena, a small 2480 (1500 steated) stadium, where in real life the team has plans to build much modern stadium in the same area, which most likely is not on the game. We have average training facilities, below average youth facilities and average academy coaching and youth recruitment. I have yet to take a good look at the team, but with 2000-1 odds of going up, we're certainly not favourites. We play in Série D of the Campeonato de Portugal, with teams like Louletano and Moncaparachense are the clear favourites. In my next post, I will look at our current squad and staff.

I was going for Wacker Innsbruck, but they were relegated to the 4th tier.

Quick note: check how many players your team actually has - don't join a freshly promoted team to find out they only have 13 players.

Anyone else finding the performance review's too harsh? I won the Canadian league with a team predicted to finish second from last, and the performance review from both board and supporters is still at C+.

Uploaded as "Unable to sign youth intake older" and "Unable to sign youth intake contract day" - as an add on, when I asked the director of football to take care of it he was able to sign the players, but it wouldn't work when I tried to negotiate.

I can upload a save from the exact day I tried to offer the contracts to them, and up to 3 weeks before, but not from before the youth intake came through. Is that alright?

I finally found a bug that is currently game breaking for me. Playing in the Canadian league, within the wage budget, just won the playoffs, and every single on of my youth intake players refuses to sign because apparently they believe I lack the funds to even get close to their contract demands...

In fact this is happening to every single player from my intake.

I like seeing these things I've never seen before, even if I don't like this guy's attitude.

Is this a bug? A player upset about another player's arrival... a new signing that was signed 5 minutes after he was...

It's as is in the game yeah, but east german football teams tend to be a mouthful. Short name is just WSSB Berlin too. I've used that website above extensively

I have a theory - the game creates the names from a) players in the database and b) names in the old name database, which we no longer have access to. Most nations deal OK with not having a) because they stuill have b), but for extinct nations, b) is probably also blank, and so the game tries to fill it the best they can, hence probably getting the names from the general region.
