  1. The Pitbull-Stories April - May 2027 Youth Intake First of all, we start with the 2027 intake. With Felomina only one promising player. Any chance for the title or second place we already throwed away against Vitesse. After we went in front through a penalty, Toney equalized for Arnheim before the break. Venlo was then an easy win, before we lost in Eindhoven. The last two games were good performances. Heerenveen we destroyed with 5-2. Against Groningen we were behind 0-2 before we came back and get at least a point. Another third place! Ajax and Feyenoord are just still the bigger clubs with more financial limits. But we're coming closer each year... Casap was close on winning "Player of the year"-Award. But Díaz was a well deserved winner. If you just go after ratings, this is ok. If you look at the stats, it's a joke, that the Ajax-Wingback won this before Schoonbrood. At least our homegrown-talents are now arrived at Eredivisie.
  2. After that successful time in Köln, i'm curious how you're doing in Gdansk and what business you're going to do. Some of the transfer amounts in Köln were crazy Good luck for now for the relegation battle!
  3. The Pitbull-Stories February - March 2027 February was almost a perfect month! Five wins in a row, including an extra-time win in the cup, where substitue Amenyido, whos rarely get playtime this season, became our hero! Also nice to see, that our homegrown youngster Schoonbrood finally became one of our most important players in the squad. A late strike from Utrecht prevented our perfect month. In march it was once again Feyenoord, who destroyed our dreams in the cup. We were 2-1 up till Feyenoord scored the equalizer in the 90+3rd minute! Then we were unlucky in the penalty shootout with Svensson who's missing as only taker. But the sadness didn't last long. In the league we went on strong. Cutrone finally scored a hattrick in a easy 4-0 win against Eindhoven and the other two matches we both won 2-0. The gap is probably to big, but let us dream a bit. With the three lions the first games in the european qualification group were on the agenda. The squad was more or less the same, like in the Nations League. We made just one chance: Matty Longstaff replaces James Ward-Prowse, who's not getting enough play-time at Liverpool. We had a home game again Kosova. Wingback Thomas opened the score early in the game. In the second half, Sterling put the lid on. In Azerbaijan we also took the lead very early. This time Mount scored after seven minutes. In the second half it was Tuanzebe and Skipp who provided the final score of 3-0. On the right track so far.
  4. The Pitbull-Stories January 2027 Transfers Out Unfortunately it went a bit quicker than i thought. But our colombian keeper Jean Benítez is leaving us just after one year. Manchester United pays us a nice fee. If he's getting gametime there behind legend David de Gea is another question. But probably (and if AI isn't totally stupid) it will be a transfer for the future. For us a big loss. Because he's leaving on the last day of the transfer-window we didn't signed a replacement. Dakovic will be the number one till the end of the season and we called back Louis Lord, who was on loan in Genk and didn't play a minute. Führich is another mentionable departure. The german left to Osijek in Croatia. In Billy Koumetio is a top sign! He was on my shortlist and DoF probably saw that and bought him from Gladbach. For three millions literally a steal and now we have with Koumetio and Pirola a young and strong centre back duo! On the last day DoF went crazy and bought two right wingers. Heitor is a brazilian born czech national player. A decent winger, which will be used as a rotate player. I was happy with that sign, but then he brought in Rogério from Cruzeiro. The brazilian is a gem and even better than Heitor! Moseley is a loanee from affiliated Manchester United and the other ones are all for the reserve squad. Eindhoven we sent back home with a straight 4-0 in the KNVB beker third round. Then topgame against Ajax. We shocked them with a early goal from Fofana, but then stoped with playing football. Ajax then tourned things around and was leading 1-3 by half-time. Devastating performance. At least we showed a reaction and won at home 3-1 against ADO Den Haag. Well and then this came in. A big club with great history. Their actually on place 4 in the league and still in the champions league. After the interview they offered me the job and much more money. It was a though decision, but in the end i decided to stay at Willem. We have a good young team, who still can develop and we want to win something more. Also Portugal is just one place above the Netherlands in the Uefa Ranking. So if i switch, i want to go to a top 5 league. Lets continue this adventure!
  5. The Pitbull-Stories Nations League Finally it was time for Davids first appearance as coach of the three lions. In the Nations League we faced Italy, Switzerland and Austria. And that's the squad which we called for the games. Not really great suprises. Some experienced mixed with younger players. But most of them are in the squad since years and have profen there position. We will play in a 4-3-3 and that's our line-up for the first games. Harry Kane as lone striker (DLC as his backup). On the wings we have the agony of choice. Sterling, Foden, Greenwood, Sancho, Rashford and Jones - all brillant players, but just two places. The midfield will be lead by Bellingham, Mount and Rice as deep-lying Playmaker. On the bench we have JWP and Skipp as further options. On the wingbacks we have left Chillwell and Luke Thomas and on the right side TAA and Reece James (and also plenty of options i couldn't call into the squad). Central defense options are Tomori, Godfrey, Tuanzebe and also Rice who could play there. Goalkeepers, as always, are a bit a weak point. Pickford, Ramsdale and Henderson are good options, but not world-class keepers. They fall off a little in comparison. I started with Pickford in goal, because he plays at club-level also, but switched to Ramsdale after some games, because he became the first-choice goalkeeper of Chelsea again. And we started bad. A 0-2 defeat in Italy was followed by a tight win at home against Switzerland. The 2-2 against Austria at home was also not a glossy performances. Things turned better in the reverse games. A 4-1 win in Switzerland and a 3-0 success in Austria. Just Italy was too strong for us and beat us again. So we ended our Nations League group on place 2. Not the best result, but in that nonsens competition not that important. Much more important is, that we deliver good performances in the Qualification for the European Championship. And we draw to a doable group. Only Croatia could be dangerous, the other nations should be easy for us. But we're England, so you never know.. PS: Sorry for the german-version of the nations, but the database is set in my mother-language
  6. The Pitbull-Stories November - December 2026 Many games, many green dots! We started with a defeat against overperforming Sparta. But then we took six wins in a row, included big games against AZ and PSV, the last one we won with 3-0, seeing Cutrone scored twice, after he had some problems infront of the goal. But then again Feyenoord stepped up and beat us with 0-3! In the cup we had another easy go. The year ended with a draw against Groningen and another win over Alkmaar. Thanks to two good months we jumped to the 3rd place with just four points behind leader Ajax - but also two games more than them.
  7. The Pitbull-Stories September - October 2026 More or less two good months and we finally starting to score some goals. In September we scored at least two goals in every game, thats positive. In October we had to took another defeat against Feyenoord! At least it getting closer each game.. Fofana, Schoonbrood and Novota with the most pleasant perfomances this months. Not the best start so far. We need to push much more to our limits the next months.
  8. The Pitbull-Stories July - August 2026 Yeah, most important for the start: There will be no international football this season in Tilburg. Once more we didn't had the luck on our side at the draw and get with Fiorentina one of the thoughest opponents we could get. After a 1-1 at home, the Viola smashed us with 0-3 out of Europa in italy. But our performances weren't also really convinced before. Against FC Bohemian we get through with a 3-0 difference after two games and then we struggled a bit against Djurgardens. After a 1-1 at home, we came through to the playoffs with a 2-1 in sweden. So now we need to set the focus to the league. But that didn't started good aswell. We started the season with a homegame against Ajax. They just began a new era, after Ten Hag took over the dutch national team. Perfect time to beat them - but unfortunately we lost 0-1. Diogo Jota already scored in the first minute. Then we draw goalles in Den Haag and could celebrate our first win just on the third game against newly promoted Almere. So there is plenty of work to do!
  9. The Pitbull-Stories Season 2026/27 Transfers Out Not that much going on. We luckly could keep our squad together and get rid of some players we didn't need anymore. Burnley was offering 53 millions for Fofana, but that was to less, because he has an releasing clause worth 102 millions. So please show us a bit more money Luckly APOEL was willing to pay us something for oldie Tolói. Decided to sell him, because he lost his place to Pirola and was starting to complain around. Petretta and Johnston were both also not need anymore. Zuijderwiijk we sold, because the offer from Sporting Charleroi was too good. In Also not that much business, we had to do. Let it all lead by DoF this summer. Pretty happy, he just brought in a few new players. Ghion is another italy-import for the central midfield and García is a talented left wingback from Mexico. That's the only mentionable new incomings. And with that squad we're going to start the new season:
  10. Nope. World Cup 2022 - out in the second round against Poland World Cup 2026 - out in the third round again against Poland Euro 2024 they lost in the semifinal against France Euro 2020 they went out at the group stage behind Switzerland and Turkey (which has won the tournament ) They're best players getting close to 30 now or are allready older (Kane & Sterling). So i need to do a generation-change in one or two years (if i'm still in charge then )
  11. The Pitbull-Stories So after the world cup 2026 plenty national teams searched for a new coach. Also the dutch team, because Peter Bosz left them after their out in the quarterfinals against brazil. As a former dutch national player Davids wanted to step in and lead his nation to new glory. But the KNVB didn't had any interest in signing Davids and told him off very quickly. Okey fine, then no adventure with a national team Davids thought, but some days later and out of the nowhere another federation approached him. 77,000 per week is seven time more than Willem pays me and who can decline an offer from the three lions?! So it was an easy decision for the Pitbull. Maybe with good performances he can recommend himself for a job in the premier league? But nice, that after all i did with Willem last season, they're smashing me for a humilitating defeat against Nijmegen This was the world cup 2026. England beiing England and get knocked out in the first KO-Round against Poland. So now, we are club and nation manager!
  12. The Pitbull-Stories End of Season-Review More or less just green notes. Speaks for a good team performance this season. Goalkeepers Jean Benítez came and followed in the footsteps of Ricardo Friedrich. Good performances from the colombian and he still has plenty room of developing. Dakovic did also some games and was good. About Lord i need to think. His wage is to high for a 3rd choice keeper. Defenders First Tabidze and Nuhu were the centre-back-duo. In winter Pirola joined and took over and part of that and Tabidze and Nuhu were rotating. Tolói will leave to cyprus, because he wasn't happy with his game-time. Leverbe became defender number 4. On the right defensive side Calabresi did a good season with seven assists. Owusu was his backup. Left side was the territorium of Köhn. Petretta couldn't catch up. He's a selling candidate. Lauper, Deeker and Matuta were all used in central midfield. Especially home-grown talent Dekker did a good development this season! Midfielders Casap was our most important player and ran up 50 times this season! Next to him mostly Dekker or Lauper played. Moseley was a loanee from Manchester United. On the attacking midfield Ivic was a good option, but i'm hoping a bit more from the serbian next season. Behind him Zuijderwijk and Maher were rotating. The offensive wings were with Fofana and Schoonbrood our showpiece. Fofana scored 17 goals and Schoonbrood in his premier season with 11 goals and 6 assists. Experienced players like Svensson or Führich had to stand in line. Larsson, who joined in january, was also a decent and scorable option for both sides. Forwards Cutrone was a disappointment. Long injured and without any danger infront of the goal. Novota also not with his best season. Goal technically, amenyido was the best striker. but his performances were not beyond all doubt either. Every year a bit more money..
  13. The Pitbull-Stories May 2026 We were close to reach again the final of the Conference League, but it shouldn't be. At home we didn't get more than a 2-2, so the Rangers qualified for the final (where they lost against Monaco). We did a quite good campaign, but when you are so close to the final, you're disappointed about this end. In the league we get another win against Heerenveen before getting 0-6 smashed by Ajax on the last game. They still had to become champion after Feyenoord lost on the gameday before. And short story: Feyenoord lost again the last game and Ajax were crowned champions - once again. At least we could secure the last european spot after beating Groningen and Almelo in the European Places Playoff. Table Eredivise
  14. The Pitbull-Stories April 2026 The season is nearing the end and we're running a bit out of fitness and concetration. So april was a changeable month. It began with a clear defeat in Almelo. Then it was the week of Etienne Amenyido. Coming on as a sub he scored the winner in Alkmaar and our only goal in the 1-1 draw in Vienna. Against Emmen we couldn't get three points either, but we beat at home Rapid Vienna and secured our way to the semi final of the Conference League. In Venlo we won through a late winner from Fofana. The ivorian then also scored in Glasgow, but Rangers stroke back and won the first leg of the semifinal with 1-2. Now we are definetly under pressure... Table Eredivise We lost the 3rd place to PSV. With two games incoming it's going to be hard, to get it back. On the top we maybe see a new champion for the first time since years! Youth Intake For the so called "Golden Generation" a disappointing intake.
  15. The Pitbull-Stories February - March 2026 Well in February we didn't show the best and attractive football, but mostly it was really effective. The first three games we all won 1-0. In the league, Fofana scored both goals. In the Quarterfinal of the cup it was our new signing Larsson. Against Groningen and at home against Dundee we draw goalless. Especially the last game was a bit a disappointment. Afterwards it followed another 1-0 win against Deventer and in Dundee Stef Schoonbrood ruled our way into the second knockout-stage with two goals. Then in march came the big slump. We couldn't get points in Utrecht and then followed by a crucial 0-1 defeat in the semifinals of the cup at home against Nijmegen. It was all set, because Heerenveen won over Ajax in the other semifinal and we would have a big opportunity to win the KNVB beker again, but we failed to score a goal. So Nijmegen will play in The Kuip against Heereveen. Another bitter game followed against Vitesse. Ten minutes before the end we were 3-1 up, but Arnheim stroke back with two goals in two minutes. In the Conference League Everton was waiting. A big game. The Toffees went up in front early by a goal from Jarrod Bowen. We somehow found back into the game and Amenyido scored a late and really important equalizer! Then we proofed once more, that Feyenoord is something like our fear opponent. 2-4 was the verdict in the away game in Rotterdam. Then we had to travel to Liverpool and Everton scored again early in the Goodison Park. Mo Ihattaren with the opener after 11 minutes. But again we found back through an own goal from keeper Kepa and in the extra time Jemal Tabidze scored the big cheered winner! Now we face Rapid Wien. That should be a easier go than Everton. The win over Everton inspired the team. Because at home we beat PSV, even if we were 0-2 down after half an hour. But a strong second halftime, in which we scored three times, lead us to three important points!
  16. Congratulations - good work with Rukh! Now the right step with Dynamo, hopefully there will grow some good gems
  17. The Pitbull-Stories January 2026 Transfers Out Two important players were leaving us. On one side Driess Saddiki. The maroccan midfielder left us after eight years and 191 appearances to get his last big contract in china. On the other side we say goodbye to Ricardo Friedrich. After five years, 134 appearances and two times as "Goalkeeper of the year", the brazilian goes to Prague. I wasn't mentioned to sell him, because he was a brillant keeper, but there opened a good opportunity for us. The other sell outs were all from the B-Team. In So Benítez was the reason, why we sold Friedrich. Wasn't looking for a keeper, but suddenly Benítez popped up in a scouting report. A real gem and when i saw, he's for free, it was a no-brainer. If he develops good, he probably won't stay long in Tillburg. Then our DoF did some business. With Lorenzo Pirola he brought in a really strong defender. Also nomadic striker Patrick Cutrone joins us. Two italians - now you can notice, that we have an italian chief-scout last mentionable new signing is Jake Larsson. A quick winger, which we can use as rotate player. We continue there, where we stopped at the end of the last year. Beating NAC Breda twice and wining 3-0 in Sittard. Only in the cup we had a some trouble. Needed the penalty shootout to get over Cambuur Leeuwarden and qualify for the quarter finals. Feyenoord and Ajax drop points and suddenly we're just four points behind the leader!
  18. The Pitbull-Stories December 2025 The start in the month was not brillant. A draw against Go Ahead Eagles is actually to less for us. In the Europa League the team felt obviously a bit too much pressure and lost in Split. So our journey will continue in the Conference League. There we face FC Dundee. Should be a doable go, especially because they're only on the 10th place in their league. And in the League we then had a little run till the end of the year. In the top-game we finally beat Ajax! Ivic and Schoonbrood with the goals for the 2-0 win. In the cup our b-side beat non-league-side Hardenberg with 3-1. And the year ended with a 3-1 over Heerenveen and a 1-0 win in Waalwijk. Especially Stef Schoonbrood was in top-form, scoring five goals this month! Table Eredivisie 3rd place! But the gap to leader Feyenoord is still too big. Table Europa League Except the loss in Split we did our best in this group!
  19. yeah, that's what we're aiming to do. should be easier than Europa League.
  20. The Pitbull-Stories October - November 2025 We start off with a win in the Europa League at home against Split. I threw youngster Misidjan into the starting team and he didn't disappoint me and scored the opener. Afterwards it was a bit an up and down. Against Utrecht we lost 0-1, but after the international break we came back and beat Waalwijk 2-0. In Lyon we showed a bravely fight, but lost thight with 1-2 and back in league business we made an important win over Vitesse. November began with a good win over Almelo. Fofana, Misidjan and Lauper scored the goals. Against Lyon we then could celebrate a little sign with a goalless draw. In Eredivisie followed two wins over Alkmaar and Nijmegen. Then Tottenham was guest in our stadium and again the team fought hard and get another goalless draw and another point. Three days after that heroic game we get another point against Groningen. Table Eredivisie For once Ajax is not at the top! But they have a game less. Surprisingly leader so far is Heerenveen. We're keep tracking on the 5th place. Table Europa League We tried our best and were competitive, but Lyon and Tottenham are too strong. There is a very little chance on the last game, but for that we need a miracle.
  21. If just checked. They have an affiliate club (more a school) in Ukraine "Benfica Kharkiv Football Academy" from where they get every year some ukrainian youth prospects. Nazarenko and Kovalchuk are the brightest spots in my save so far.
  22. The Pitbull-Stories August - September 2025 In the Europe League Group draw we were again unlucky. Facing two european giants with Lyon and Tottenham! Place 3 and qualify for the Conference League Knockout-Stage will be our aim. So we start off the season with two 2-0 wins. Against Sittard our two new youngsters were allready scoring. And that in our first game in our new stadium! (tbh: i didn't remember, that i ever had a message, that we build up a new stadium. But maybe it was allready before my arrival) Then in Eindhoven we failed the first hard test against PSV with a 0-2 loss. Then it was Seydou Fofana's week. Scoring twice lately and securing us in each case a point. Really especially was the late goal at the Hotspur Stadium! What a player Fofana is, coming from Ligue 2 in France. Back in league business we get a crucial 1-4 defeat at home against Feyenoord. In Emmen we put ourselves long in difficulties till Zuijderwijk scored the goal for the 1-0 win. Table Eredivise Decent start once more. We need to get back in line! Table Europa League
