Yeah it makes sense not to put too much work into something that might not even work in FM25.

Wouldn't it just take the next best teams from the league? For example, Al Ahly and Zamalek are playing AFL and finish in top 2 spots of the league so it would take the third and fourth best team?

Can you use "ignore teams" option so that teams in AFL don't play in the champions league?

Yeah that's probably the best way to do it. Can you share or at least tell me how your continental superleagues look? I still can't decide for other continents other than Europe so it would be nice to have some new ideas. I'm thinking about splitting Asia into east and west, merging Oceania with the east and adding Cyprus, Israel, Kazakhstan, Azerbaijan, Armenia, Georgia and Turkey to the west.

So I'm creating continental superleagues and was wondering how much should prize money be? I want it do be realistic so that clubs don't end up hoarding money or start spending it weirdly. This mostly refers to the smaller clubs because they usually end up with a lot of money but they don't spend it at all (for example they get 60 millions but spend like 5 on transfers and don't do anything else). So, there are 3 divisions with regional divisions under it so what should the prize money be for each division? First 3 divisions have reputation 180-170-160 and top regional division 140 (is reputation ok or should I also change it)?

What do you mean by split exactly? I think I understand but if you would how would you split Europe? And asia into east and west confederations?

Did you separate groups by region? I see that groups aren't like they are supposed to be in the actual competition.

I thought so. I hope they improve editor a lot when FM25 comes out. What do you think the reputation and prize money should be for lower tiers? I just can't decide those things.

So I decided to give up this idea until fm24 and for now do it in a single nation file. 3 tiers (not sure about format and number of clubs yet), regional subdivisions below and a mini tournament with champions of those subdivisions for promotion. So, does the reputation of each subdivision change with time? For example england league reputation is 160 and Croatia at 120 and would those reputations change with time? There would be a lot of different cups with different reputations in the database.

Yeah I thought so when we don't even know how exactly will it look. Well, looking forward to custom database at least.

Hello. Is it possible to create a superleague in continental cup rules with teams not playing in their own nation? So for example Barcelona play in this superleague but not in la liga (edited one) and if they get relegated from the superleague they go back to la liga. And let's say semifinalists of champions league get promoted to the superleague?

Like in Yugoslavia league I would like to give each nation its own cup (one for Croatia, one for Serbia etc). If not could something about it be made like with Liechtenstein cup for teams that play in Switzerland?

Too bad, thanks for the answer. I have two more questions if you don't mind. I was thinking about changing all leagues in Europe and it's continental competitiona to world. Not editing competitions but swapping team from leagues, for example English league would be great Britain league, Slovakia Oceanian league, Poland Caribbean league etc. So can I remove some not needed league so let's say there would be 30-40 leagues in Europe and would it still work? Oceanian teams improving Slovakian league coefficient?
