  1. Unlucky in the cup. Will make the first trophy you win even sweeter. Great job overall though 👏
  2. Disable first transfer window would give you to at least January to get him a new deal. If not 6 month of gametime is better than 0. Just means you won't be able to strengthen your squad in other areas until then too.
  3. To follow the last message up if you ask about market interest for Szczesny straight away you can negotiate a deal upto £26.5m from Al-Nassr for his services. He is good but at 33 and on £200k a week the money and wages can go elsewhere with Perin good enough to step up you can massively strengthen other departments.
  4. Think you will find it easy. I have a second save with them as there the team I support and with the right tactic there unstoppable. Brought Dybala back to the club and currently have 13 wins out of 14 in the league with a 9 point gap already.
  5. At the start of the game Lorenzo Lucca is at Udinese and they have an optional future fee of £6.75m as part of the loan agreement. He can however be purchased for as little as £2.7m by Udinese saving them £4m on the clause fee. In previous games any fee offered below the optional fee would be rejected immediately.
  6. Udinese Calcio The Italian Football club Udinese Calcio was established in 1896 in the town of Udine. They are sometimes called "The Little Zebras" based on their black and white striped shirts. Udinese have never won the top-level league in Italy. The closest they came was finishing runner-up in the 1954–1955 season, four points behind Milan, although that season was followed by relegation due to corruption. The club, has otherwise, floated across the three first tiers in the league system. The club is also waiting for the first Coppa Italia trophy. Udinese reached the final in the competition the first time it was played in 1922 and losing to Vado. They have three international titles: Mitropa Cup (1980), Anglo-Italian Cup once (1978) and Intertoto Cup (2000). Alongside several Serie C title's and two Serie B titles. As far as the board is concerned first season they want us to avoid a relegation battle in Serie A and be competitive in the Coppa Italia. Which with the team we have at our disposal should be easily achievable. Looking at the rest of the five year plan everything seems reasonable enough with the end goal being qualifying for the Uefa Europa Conference League. THE SQUAD We inherit a first team squad of 31 PLAYERS and that's without counting the 3 out on loan which leaves a whopping 35. This needs trimmed dramatically not just to keep everyone happy but to also help the club raise some much needed finances to strengthen out the club. One thing that is a bit of a worry for me is out of the 31 players at the club ONLY FIVE ARE ITALIAN something that I will look to change going forward as I want the club to have a real Italian spine. Injuries have plagued our first season with a lot of key players having pretty severe problems. Key Striker BRENNER 6-7 Month Fractured Upper Leg. Key Winger DEULOFEU 5-7 month Damaged Knee Cap. Starting WB EHIZIBUE 4-5 Month Damaged Cruciate Ligaments. Starting CB MASINA 3-4 Month Torn Ankle Ligaments. Cover CB/WB EBOSSE 6-7 Month Damaged Cruciate Ligaments. THE AIMS (Short Term) Trim the squad down to around 22 players. Increase the number of Italians in the team to 50% (CURRENTLY 15%) Promote two Youth players to the first team per season. (Not Starting XI Unless Ready) Improve coaching team across the board to top 10 in the league minimum. Work up to winning the Coppa Italia. THE AIMS (Long Term) Have 80% or more of the first team squad be Italian Nationals. Promote 4 Youth players per season with at least One getting a starting position. Have coaches be in the top 3 in the league. Never spend more than the club makes from transfers. Win Serie A Win a European Trophy (Champions League the dream) TRANSFERS First bit of business has already been concluded as I write this. Obviously a few of our main attacking threats injured Udinese start the game with FM22 god Lorenzo Lucca in on loan with a £6.75m optional future fee. You can however offer Pisa £2.7m which they will happily accept and even though he might not have the potential he used to have he will certainly do for where we are at the minute.
  7. SERIE C GIRONE A BRESCIA CALCIO Brescia football club were relegated to Serie C for the first time in 38 years on Thursday evening. In the second leg of the Serie B playout they drew 1-1 at home against Cosenza, after losing 1-o in the first leg in Calabria. Cosenza’s equalizing goal, which decided the match, was scored in the fourth minute of added time, therefore with the match now over. Shortly after, the Brescian supporters started throwing smoke bombs and other objects onto the pitch to stop the match, which actually happened. From there riots were born which continued for a long time, both inside and outside the Rigamonti stadium. There have been clashes and charges between supporters and the police, attempted attacks on away Cosenza fans, who were only able to leave the stadium after one in the morning, and damage to clubs and vehicles parked nearby. A footballer’s car was set on fire and the Brescia newspaper writes that another player would be threatened with a knife. Nine people were injured and five others arrested. Brescia had been divided between Serie A and Serie B for 38 years. In particular, between the 1990s and 2000s, it was one of the best-known so-called “provincial” teams in the Italian championship, best remembered for being Roberto Baggio’s last team, but also other big names such as Andrea Pirlo, Luca Toni, Pep Guardiola and Carlo Mazzone, the coach with whom he played the 2001 Intertoto Cup final against Paris Saint-Germain. Brescia had mostly spent the last decade in Serie B, albeit with very mixed results and a relegation avoided only thanks to a repechage. During this time the team has changed ownership several times. In 2014 the historic president Gino Corioni – who died in 2016 at the age of 78 – sold the company to the Profida group. In 2017 it was then sold again to the Sardinian entrepreneur Massimo Cellino, former president and owner of Cagliari and Leeds United, still in office. With Cellino, Brescia returned to Serie A in 2019 but only stayed there for a year. In the last three seasons they have finished the Serie B championship in seventh, fifth and this year in sixteenth place in the standings. With this last placement he had avoided direct relegation, but not the playouts then lost between the round trip against Cosenza. After the clashes on Thursday evening, Serie B president Mauro Balata wrote in a statement: «Our category has always stood out for the absence of aggression and discrimination. I feel defeated, I ask myself, and I think we all have to do it, as to why situations of such violence can occur”. The prefect of Brescia Maria Rosaria Laganà said that the identifications of those responsible for the unrest are underway, in which members of the southern curve of Milan, which has long been associated with the Brescia one, would also have participated. Brescia have announced Daniele Gastaldello will leave his position as manager due to the clubs relegation. New Manager and Season Preview THE MANAGER AND SEASON PREVIEW Brescia annoince the appointment of Alessandro Di Gregorio as new head coach until 30/06/2024 the 35 year old will be on around £2.5k per week. As far as experience goes Di Gregorio played football at Regional level coming up through his beloved AS Roma's youth system before a serious knee injury cut his career short. During his time out of the game he has managed to attain his National A coaching license and will be extremely keen to carry on his qualifications alongside his new role. PROS Very strong squad for the division. No players injured or loaned out. Depth in every position. Money to spend. Board only want playoffs. No debt. CONS Massive wage budget for division. All decent players wont renew contracts. Players looking to leave worth less due to league. No decent youth to cover the players leaving. The aim for the first season is simple return to Serie B as soon as possible and hopefully be in a position at the second half of the season to convince some of the players to stay at the club. I also want to bring an Italian core into the club going forward and will look to bring in Italian players over other nations when possible.
