Serie B I presume? Niccolo Armini from Lazio is a solid defender, and can play as a wing back. Usually available for loan, unless someone got him already. Also, Kamenovic from Lazio. Very similar player, a defender can also play wing back. Both are ideal wide center backs.

Just I thought I had while playing as a Corsican only Bastia save. I'd like to preface that I'm not too familiar with French football (primarily Serie A). What do you all think about Corsican players(as well as new-gen from Corsican clubs) having Corse (or Italian just to simplify) as a secondary language? Similar to some of the clubs in Switzerland.

He would be a good squad player for you, natural on both flanks. Out performs his CA for me. Currently the best player on my mid-table Salernitana side.

I started my Beta save with Salernitana. The season didn't start off very well, and I was just safely outside the relegation zone. I brought in Ogbonna and Livakovic during the winter mercato, and those two carried us up to 9th within the table. I change Piatek to a target man, and switched from a high press, to a counter attacking mid block. We had some very good results including a 2-1 win in the derby Della Campania, and 6-4 win cracker of a match at the San Siro (Piatek with a hat trick against Milan). Now I just hope I get a decent budget to keep all these loan players, such as Piatek, Dia, Candreva, Villena, and Pirola. Mazzocchi is a beast on either flank. Definitely a very good wingback, that could be bought for cheap (starting salary of 3.9k weekly)

Try to get Dossena from Cagliari. He used to play with Avellino.

So the only way to get tight marking, is through the player individual instruction now.

Tight marking instruction is seemingly removed from out of possession in fm23? Or am I just missing something here.
