In my opinion this allows for more interesting but irl scenarios

For example, you can choose to start at Middlesborough when they appointed Carrick (after gameweek 16) and see if you can replicate his performance

For licensing reasons it would probably only be possible in licensed leagues, but even a fraction of the leagues in FM having this would be nice.

 

[CONCACAF Champions League Qualifying]

I have just started a holiday save to test some added databases. As I am using one that change the NACL from 50 teams to 27 teams (new format), the Central American Cup and the CFU Cup should be the only way that teams outside Canada, USA and Mexico qualify. However, they didn't exist and teams from these leagues qualified from their domestic leagues instead. 

I am wondering if this is a problem from the added databases or are do these competitions not exist in the game as it still has the 50 team NACL format?

[FM21 Reserve staff can't get better badges]

The same happened to me in Serbia while managing Red Star Belgrade

I like to sign ex-players who used to play for me who turned into coaches when retired for realism and nostalgia purposes

I also sign them into my youth/reserve teams wherever I go as they have bad attributes at the start

It has worked fine at every club I've been to up until that point as i was able to give my youth team staff coaching badges to improve but at Red Star, the staff I signed to Graficar (the reserve team who plays in a non-activated playable league) I was not able to give coaching badges for. 

I have moved on but an explanation would be much appreciated.

What I do is I offer the role to staff who are the same nationality as my national team, e.g if I'm managing South Korea I would search for South Korean staff to hire.

For the last few matches that I've played, at the end if the match it would make me do the opposition team talk as well, then after I've done my own team talk the game is stuck on this page. I've had to close it using Task Manager and instant result the game instead, which is annoying.

According to my knowledge the clause can only be activated when Rapid Vienna are not in Europe and your team are.

I could be wrong but it's worth trying again when Rapid Vienna are knocked out of Europe.

Perhaps expansion is possible no matter of stadium age. Depends if the stadium is expandable tho I think. Can be checked in the editor.

I don't think this is true as @XaWposted somewhere that on his save they built 2 new stadiums in 5 years

I read someone on the forums saying that usually your average attendance need to reach 90% of your stadium capacity for the board to consider it.

I had the same issue recently so I thought I might share it.

I was managing Mol Fehervar in January 2029 when multiple players got homesick, in particular Serhou Guirassy, who wants to return to France. I agreed to the transfer if a club pays £1.3m for his services and he agreed.

Fast forward to six months later, a team in the French third tier made a £650K offer for Guirassy that I accepted as I didn't need him anyway.

However two days later his agent demanded a £75K payoff for "loss of earnings". Why would I pay you to leave when you wanted to leave in the first place? Also I already made him a favour to accept a bid that is half the asking price? 

Needless to say I rejected it.

As @Brother Ben said, if you don't have an assistant manager, every player would show as "extremely interested" automatically even though they might not be.

[Can't schedule friendlies in training camp locally]

I also have a similar problem. Our team, Mol Fehervar was scheduled to do a friendly camp for 10 days in August somewhere in Hungary. Coincidentally, on the penultimate day of the camp we were scheduled to play a Champions League qualifier in Cyprus. The game thinks that after the game, when we travel back to Hungary, we have to go to the training camp before returning to Fehervar. That seems weird to me as you should probably go home straight after the game since the training camp is ending?

My winger, Andrey Mostovoy, was demanding a wage I didn't think he deserved and with one year left on his contract was transfer-listed. However, he is still a important member of my team and he does get some playing time. I started him on the right wing today in a 3-1 win against Puskas Akademia (I'm Mol Fehervar), and he got an assist and a 7.0 rating but the media thought he was left out of the team. @warviv this happens to me also but it usually changes back to whatever your relationship was on its own, so you don't need to worry about it.

It might be quite annoying for some but nothing gamebreaking imo.

I think the board is unaware of the fact that its still possible to qualify. I wonder if they remain disappointed if I manage to qualify....

I think it will change because it only said "disappointed" which means they are not happy about you not being in the Euro Cup 2 spots currently. If it said "failed" that means they know you have no chance of qualifying.

If he can be signed for compensation there should be an Approach to Sign button instead of Contract Offer, and in the Approach to Sign button it tells you how much you need to pay.
