[Clubs are not getting relegated from FFP]

I wouldn't be too surprised if this has not been fixed due to fears of litigation. It's the sort of thing I expect from football clubs these days when their "good" name is muddied in a computer game!

It's a no I'm afraid. I have a save where the rules are present on 2nd August 2043, but have gone on the saved game of 1st Aug 2044. That's a couple years difference on my original reporting of this. I stopped and saved the game on 8th April 2045 where there had been no closing down taking place, and all the rules were still present. It was only when I reloaded an earlier save did I see the problem remained. I am at a loss on where to look to rectify this and would really appreciate some pointers in the right direction.

I am currently running a save up to the 2047 season to see what happens. I fear a lack of SI response indicates no success in unlocking this mystery

ok, I'll chance my arm here... did the latest update today rectify this problem? 

If not, is there anything I can do to fix it myself?

[New Asian Continental Competitions]

Forgot to mention the reason why I have posted this in the South Korean section! it's because qualifications will be different for the domestic competitions. For example the FA cup winners will qualify for the ACL elite BUT only if they finish in the top 4 of the league! https://www.kleagueunited.com/2024/02/news-2024-korean-fa-cup-gets-rebrand.html?m=1

This will no doubt effect qualifications in other Asian countries as well.

I agree with you @themodelcitizen, it sounds too much of a coincidence. However the issue is more that once I close the game down and reload it the rules disappear. If I never close the game down they stay 🤔🤔

There's a second save game file called "uefa cup rewrite 4.01 2046.09.03" which is the start of the 2046 season and the rules missing.

Hi @Zachary Whyte will this get fixed in the pre xmas update (if there is one)? The squad selection rules was a problem in FM23 before getting fixed in the December update. Very frustrating. I wonder do you have a base file that you go to for each version, but the base file has none of the things that were fixed from before, and we end up back where we started? I don't mean to come across as a groany old c@*t, I also echo @Roy Race 9's sentiments of getting the editor to be the best working version we can get.

I think there's a couple of ways to do this. I'm not at my pc until tonight so I'll try and point you in the right direction. 

Reworking the CWC so you have a 23/24 version and a 24/25 and beyond version would do it, but that's alot of work.

The easiest way would be to go into the ofc champions league and change the history. So make the last winners of the competition a team that has not been moved to Australia. Depending on the cut off you may have to do the last 2 winners. That should then get the CWC to work as the team it picks will be from the ofc.

Was the Oceania representative from Tahiti last year or was it the year before? That would have meant your file would have worked. You could change the qualifier of the club world cup for the first year. Things should work after that.

Changing Auckland's nation to Australia would remove them as Oceania's Club World Cup entrant. That is the problem.

Think that may be it. There's no Auckland in the CWC...Arsenal are there and shouldn't be.

I had not cleared all the references to the European conference league within the Dutch Cup file. I think that was the cause and consequently stopping anything working because I had made that competition extinct.

That is so strange. The only files running are that Euro one and the 80s Dutch file to allow the KNVB Cup to work. 

I have since discovered that the problem is with the 80s Dutch file. The 80s competition work without that Dutch file, but then the Dutch Cup doesn't run. I will investigate further. Thanks @rusty217.

I have the same with my continental competitions. Won't show up in the game yet they work when tested in the editor. I'll start my own thread later on, when I'm at home.

@Zachary Whyte, are you able to confirm that this error will be fixed? I assume if it is, will it be released when you release the updated Chinese transfer dealings, or sooner?

Here you go @Zachary Whyte. The 80s file is my continental one, and the confed file is an international file, and is somebody else's that I have adapted for personal use. Icelandic Cup is the problem for both.

Thanks @Zachary Whyte. I have uploaded the save where I first noticed it. This file is called "Appy Ammer no avatar profile pic". As stated in my second post you can put a picture in. The file I uploaded was before I did that. It has happened on other saves I have started when testing files, so it is not just associated to this save.
