  1. Thank you for the update. Is there any ETA on when the next update will arrive? One week? Two weeks? A month? Also will the next update be shipped with the fix to the 'short name' issue with nations?
  2. Here you go 76aec4a8-afc4-43df-ac12-768ae4d3855a.dmp
  3. The crash has not been resolved. When loading in a database with a vast amount of changes (50K+) you can not start a save as the game will crash between the league select screen and continuing to the next screen.
  4. Editor Data with many database changes can now be loaded into the game, but the Short Name is still broken and reverts to the pre-existing name still. Is this an issue that has been resolved but hasn't made today's update, or has it not been resolved at all?
  5. I have the same problem as well. It has not been resolved as of 8/11/2023 In the pre-game editor the Short Name of a country is unable to be changed by any means, always defaulting back to its original state. This has been tested with Tajikistan, Germany, The Netherlands, and Japan. As such making a custom country DB with, for example, Tajikistan is not possible to fully make how the player would like to make it. Below I have shown a 3 step showcasing example of the issue with The Netherlands The first image shows how it starts. The second image shows the proposed edit. The third image shows the end result after hitting 'enter' after having filled in the proposed edit. Wild how this has just broken between FM23 and FM24.
  6. https://podcasters.spotify.com/pod/show/almeredivisie/episodes/9---Psycholoog-hervat-werkzaamheden-bij-Almere-City-e2b0fvh Is the official podcast between news outlet Omroep Flevoland with, in this episode they talk about a multitude of subjects, but from 42:20 onwards they talk about the new expansion plans to the stadium with club Director John Bes explaining what the plans are. The pitch has also been relaid about a week before the match against Go Ahead Eagles on 28 October. But the plans are 2 staged for the expansion. Our pitch also has a heated soil and better drainage system as well.
  7. Almere City fC is going to expand its stadium at the end of the 2023/24 season in 2 stages. Is this already set in-game as well? I cannot find anything about it.
  8. Is Almere City FC not counted as one of those examples with them using OneCasino? Also, is there a reason for there not being the third, green, kit that we use in about half of our away games (like for example Utrecht and Feyenoord so far) due to kit clashes? EAFC for example swapped them out for SENS.
  9. In general the attributes of the players, or at the very least the ones who played the most matches and were the best players last season, would be best having their full attributes filled in as opposed to leaving them blank and open for the game to generate on its own. But that's a whole 'nother discussion on and off itself. In regards to Bakker he's just the victim of having randomly assigned attributes which show on his profile as him being not a good SK when he has played as an SK-De in one match, and then the next be a regular GK. As for other rating/attribute issues I do feel like Manel Royo, Jochem Ritmeester van de Kamp and Stije Resink have been let down somewhat. I would argue that Jochem's Off The Ball should be higher than an 11, as should his Decisions be higher than a 9. For Stije I'd argue a higher Tackling than 10 and a higher Concentration than 10. As for Manel his Marking, Bravery, and Composure should be higher than 10 each. His Teamwork should also be above a 9, seeing how he sticks to his tasks and doesn't drift away all that often like for example Thomas Poll did last season. As for players given too high attributes in some places I'd say Thomas Robinet's composure should be either 10 or 11, not 12. Lance Duijvestijn's Decisions would be better suited as an 11 or 12, not a 13. Last season wasn't as immense for him as an individual than 2021/22. I also noticed that Tim Receveur is only put up as Favoured Personnel while he should either be an Icon or Legend, seeing how he played over 160 games for the club across 2 spells spanning a total of 9 seasons which is among the most loyal in the club's history. As for verifying a player's age, what sources are acceptable? Only if published or posted by the club directly on either social media or their website? Something else? This to prevent me from sharing, for example, Facebook profiles of players merely to verify their ages so they can be added to the database.
  10. Ajax has not given out a license for SI to use its staff, this is a separate thing from giving out the license for using their likeness in the game. This has been a thing for several years now. If you want it to be a proper 'fix' then it would be advised to add the staff when the full game is released by using the pre-game editor, or downloading an update that someone else has made once the game has been released. Until then an Ajax career always begins by signing dozens of staff members.
  11. At Almere City FC Fred Grim is an Icon which is understandable, but he was a manager for us and not a player. Also looking at player attributes I would argue that Nordin Bakker's not been done justice. A determination of 3 seems outrageously low, as does his PA given his growth since having joined us from Beroe. He was also one of the best goalkeepers in the KKD last season. Also Christopher Mamengi has not been moved to the club yet either, despite him having been signed by Almere from Utrecht on a deal until 2026. Another player who has not been moved to (Jong) Almere City yet is Stan ter Haar (player ID: 2000053501). Besides these 2 players there's also a lack of players in Almere City U18 in Rens Hut, Zito Abdul, Zep Boerboom, Jaiden Dorn, Gabriel Luciano Accord, Senna Szokol, Gino Mateo Hernandez, Sten Teunissen, Meli Arda Saygi, Bodi Booker, Joyano Levant, Tyran Ottens, Sophian van der Drift, and Emanuel Poku. Anoush Dastgir has been given the Continental B Licence. I don't know how this ranks against the IRL KNVB licences, but Dastgir has passed his exam for Voetbalcoach 5 which allows him to manage any senior team. Geert van der Heiden has been posted up as Head Physio, which also shows him as such on LinkedIn, however Almere City has Jeroen Bijl listed as Head Physio on their website. https://almerecity.nl/selectie/almere-city-1/spelerslijst/ As far as Chief Doctors can be changed/edited it'd be nice if it could be Ted van Iersel in name only. As for scouting knowledge: Johan Hansma has stated in interviews that the club predominantly looks in Spain and France, yet the club's scouting team has 0 knowledge of any of them. Adding this knowledge to the scouting team or Johan Hansma could be a potential fix.
  12. For some reason the Nationality Column doesn't show the abbreviation of the nation anymore. It has nothing to do with anything in terms of the sizing as there is ample space for it. And if there wasn't any space then the abbreviation would be turned into dots anyways as is seen in the second screenshot.
  13. In the NBA there's a stat for passes leading to assists. The idea here is that this could be added to FM as well. E.G.: A player uses a 3-4-3 with wingbacks and two central midfielders. The central midfielders in this scenario get a lot of assists, but the wingbacks don't. With Passes Leading To Assists or Pre-Assists the player can see whether their wingbacks are involved in attack or not in a way that they want or not.
  14. For some reason Elia Benedettini is always set to be retiring at the end of the season in-game, despite him not having spoken of thinking of a retirement whatsoever. Besides that he's only 26 and always has a club to play for, so that's not a reason for the AI to decide to retire him either.
  15. For the past few years the Japanese clubs, when selected, send you directly to the players of the senior squad. If you then go to the Japanese club's overview you are immediately forwarded to the competitions screen of that club. There is no way to see the kits, club details, rivalries, legends/icons/favoured personnel of any Japanese club. This issue also persisted in previous FM titles where a Japanese extended database was used. What is the reason that, of all nations in the game, only Japanese clubs have no club overview nor, if made playable through a database, club info screens?
  16. Hedwiges Maduro appears as a standard B Team Coach on my end, so I do wonder where that issue arises. Poll is a somewhat inconsistent player, but not extremely so. The thing that he always does, regardless of anything, is work hard on the wing like Esajas works in midfield. Neither of them ever truly stops running at opposing players or chasing after balls at the end of a game. Pouwels is, in my own opinion, a terrible player. 15 goals and 7 assists in a total of 87 games for Cambuur, GAE, and Almere combined as a striker is absolutely abysmal. All he is is tall, and that's something that'd only work in the amateur leagues in The Netherlands. He's become a gigantic meme to the entire fanbase of the club. Someone who's an example of having had a mental issue on the pitch was Lance Duijvestijn who had a few poor games after the transfer window shut when he wasn't allowed to leave to the Eredivisie. Now he's playing like nothing ever happened. P.S.: 10/10 for the Barbetter pun.
  17. The list below is a collection of the issues I'm seeing with Almere City FC, I'll separate them by factual situations as well as personal opinions. Facts: -Hedwiges Maduro is part of the first team coaching staff IRL, having even managed the away game at Jong Utrecht this current season after Alex Pastoor was given a match ban following a red card the game prior. In FM23 Hedwiges Maduro is part of the B team coaching staff. -Marcelencio Esajas is part of the first team squad irl, in-game he's in the B team. -The Markermeer Derby is listed twice at the Club Info screen. -There are no players in the Under 18s, all youth players have been merged into the B Team. Opionions: -Nordin Bakker's CA is not high enough. Agil Etemadi hasn't been the first team goalkeeper for a long time, yet is still listed as the First-Choice Goalkeeper over Nordin Bakker who has been the first team goalkeeper since his arrival in the January Transfer Window. Stijn Keller is the current Backup, having played as a stand-in for Bakker when he was injured. Etemadi is the 3rd Goalkeeper for Almere. In particular Bakker's COA, Eccentricity, Composure, and First Touch are a smidge too low. -Thomas Poll's work rate, pace, and acceleration are all too low. Since last year Poll has been the work horse on the left hand side of the pitch, constantly going up and down the wing and even going into central areas of the pitch to either apply pressure or win the ball (back). -Marcelencio Esajas' CA is too low for his place in the team. I agree that he is young at 20 years old, but he is a regular face in the starting 11. His Determination, Work Rate, Bravery, Off The Ball, and Aggression are all too low. -Maarten Pouwels is rated far too highly. He is not a Regular Starter anymore and has been playing extremely poorly whenever he has been playing either last or current season. His Balance, Pace, Strength, Work Rate, Off The Ball, Passing, and Technique are too high. -Théo Barbet's Strength, Tackling, and Stamina are a smidge too low. He has been performing amicably this (pre-)season. -Joey Jacobs is part of the First Squad, in-game he is put into the B Team. Should I find more issues I will add them accordingly, and should more explanations be required please ask me and I'll do my best to explain myself.
