  1. According to this, it's the same as 23 except Windows 7 and 8 are no longer supported.
  2. I was just thinking: system requirements? I'm expecting they'll be about the same as FM23, but I'd like to be sure.
  3. I'm mothballing my current 23 saves until I can port them to 24. Also, some of my tactical ideas won't work without the new features.
  4. Now I just want this as a quality of life enhancement.
  5. An issue I just read on Twitter: how are ported saves from 23 going to deal with set piece coaches/coaching attributes?
  6. With the new set pieces system announced, this is the biggest step forward for the series probably since 10.
  7. Set piece roles no longer tied to open play roles!!! I've literally asked for this since it was called Championship Manager!!!
  8. Training a player in a new position and/or weaker foot costs CA points. You can quickly see it if you have the editor, take a player and upgrade his weaker foot or an unfamiliar position to 20, and his recommended current ability will go up (meaning, his current set of attributes/positions/footedness is more costly, so to speak). I think some retrainings cost less than others, for example training an AML to be an ML costs relatively little.
  9. I wonder if now inverted wing backs will actually invert if there is a segundo volante on their side of the pitch. That would be pretty neat.
  10. So, nothing important, at least so far. Thanks.
  11. Now, for the beta I'm thinking of a good team to try 4-3-3 out of possession/3-diamond-3 in possession. But I have to decide which team.
  12. Small thing, but I really like that we can again use inverted wingers to stretch play and still have them cut inside with the ball (in FM23, the best way to achieve this is regular wingers on the "wrong" flank).
  13. Perhaps "training pitch view" is the wrong way to put it. I'm thinking of something like ratemytactic, but integrated into the game and updated with each match engine tweak.
  14. What would complete the awesomeness is a sort of training pitch view where you can see how your selected roles-duties ideally interact with each other.
  15. OK, this has moved me from "sounds pretty meh so far" to "WANTTTTT!!!!".
  16. That's the Third Center Back role many of us have requested, right?
  17. Thanks, I remembered the path wrongly.
  18. I think today is set piece revamp day. Still looking forward to that as well.
  19. I don;t give a crap about the graphics, I just want 4-4-2 or 4-3-3 out of possession/3-2-5 in possession to actually work.
  20. This is a game where a person can materialize out of thin air to manage Real Madrid right away. Strict realism kinda goes out the window from the start. The new features could be good (I ended up being a late convert to the Squad Planner in FM23), but I want to see if they are more than just adding extra clicks for no good reason.
  21. Not really that excited about intermediaries and all the extra transfer stuff. It seems like just more clicks to do things we currently do with fewer clicks. But if they help us offload players who are surplus to requirements, that could be a plus.
  22. Just found out that it's worse than that. Even if I start the game with everyone set to follow position instructions, when the opposing team makes substitutions they default to player instructions.
  23. I ended up with two pretty good goalies in both my saves, so I rotate them.
