  1. I completely understand your points and I do think they will be looking into this. The problem is certainly the Nvidia card because since I changed my settings properly (I didn't change the latest FM title in the drop down box which seemed key for me) i've had zero crashes and I spent all day on it yesterday. Personally, I will be getting FM19 as I love the game. Yes, very little changes but i've played all but one FM title so I guess you could say i'm a big fan of the series but I know for a fact that problems like this will force some away if it's not fixed but I do have faith in the team to look into this.
  2. The other most played game is Fortnite and it runs perfectly fine using the Nvidia card. In fact, of the games I play or have played there is only FM that has been problematic when using the Nvidia card.
  3. My worry about this is I fear a lot will have an unplayable game because they won't know what to do. I mean, how many people will check forums? How many people will think to change graphic card settings? A small % of the fanbase in my opinion so this problem needs addressed because I do think a lot will be struggling to find the game which may put people off getting FM 19. Just glad I checked the forums because i'd have never done the thing that seems to have fixed the issue, it'd have been uninstalled from my laptop by now
  4. Yes I did. I don't mind as it's running perfectly fine since I changed my setting and i'm happy with it. Had no crashes in about 4 hours of game play since changing my settings so that's a positive I guess.
  5. https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-components/how-set-default-graphics-card-3612668/ Hope this helps you both. Just locate the FM folder by clicking the 'Add' button (and latest FM link from the drop down box) and change which graphics device is used if you can. It's certainly sorting the issues I had.
  6. I crashed after 15 minutes before I saw the latest FM update in the drop down box and since then i've not crashed. Changing the FM folder can't have helped but changing the latest FM link has certainly helped me. Hopefully you get it sorted mate.
  7. https://www.techadvisor.co.uk/how-to/pc-components/how-set-default-graphics-card-3612668/ This link should help you. When searching for a file like it says in the link, I just found the FM folder and changed that setting and I also found a link to the latest FM update just in the drop down list which I also changed. It's helped me so far. Hope that helps.
  8. If possible, try changing your graphics setting so that FM uses another graphics option than the Nvidia one. Since I changed mine i've only had 1-2 crashes and not 1 every 15-20 mins like I was encountering. It has helped a few of us which would appear the Nvidia graphics card is causing the crashes for whatever reason.
  9. I'd already tried all of that before I posted my problem and it made no difference. It appears that since I changed FM to use the 'Integrated' and not 'Nvidia' in the graphics options that this problem isn't anywhere near as bad so I guess i'll have to settle for that. Only had 1-2 crashes since changing which is better than 1 every 15 minutes. Thanks for replying also.
  10. I've not noticed a big difference tbh. Can only give it a try and see how you feel about it
  11. Yes, it was the same as normal. I was just searching for players and then it crashed. Not been on today so unsure how it's going to act. Will load up now and see what happens.
  12. I've had one crash just now. So, it's better than it was, much better, but still needs looked into because I have a feeling there will be many people having this issue and won't know what to do to help/solve this issue because only a small amount of people will bother looking on here.
  13. For some of us with the same issue, it seems Nvidia is causing FM to crash. Try changing it so that FM uses another graphics card if possible. It seems to be working for some people. Hope this helps.
  14. Seems a common problem for a few of us. Some of us have found the Nvidia graphics card could be the issue. If you're both running one it could be the problem. If so, try changing it so you're using the integrated graphics card on FM and it might sort it out. I've played around 90 mins since doing so and no issues with crashing since. @rui18filipe @JB LYON
